Zoom 380 $1,520,000 250.00

The ratios were pretty much as expected this weekend (except for maybe Pulse), which is a good sign. Yahoo has asked me to e-mail them a detailed description of the clogging so they can begin to investigate it. If any of you want to drop them an e-mail to push them on this, it surely wouldn't hurt. Just click the "help" link from any Yahoo movie page.

I'd say we're looking at least at a ratio of 500

Step Up's trailer actually advertised the MySpace page. That's the major difference between it and all other films that have it. Other films just require a random search, but Step Up's official website IS the MySpace page, and it's affective.

Why is it useless for SOAP? It's a film driven by the internet.

Because Snakes on a Plane (I refuse to abbreviate it) is not going after an exclusively teen audience like Step Up is.

Why the refusal to abbreviate it? It's faster.

I think Snakes on a Plane sounds cooler than soap.

Snakes on a Plane or SOAP. Either way one is referring to one fun movie.

Well we came to the conclusion that the ratio will be somewhere between 200 to 1000.

The ratio will either be... 50...

Or...

1200...

Either one...

Or somewhere in between...

As for ratios, I'm thinking 300 for Snakes (could be a lot higher), 120 for Accepted, and 200 for Material Girls. Thoughts?

Accepted 16, 10 Friday, +2, B+ (down from A-)

Did I miss something with Material Girls? How can it have so many reviews when it opens today?

Why does Material Girls have *any* reviews before Friday?

Nice form letter, RT.

I don't know, but it's probably related to the weird buzz spike on Wednesday.

Snakes has 142 votes and 89 written.
Mat. Girls has 547 votes and 5 written.
Something is not right.

There appears to be moderate clogging right now. However, Snakes may stand to see a lot of written reviews, so keep that in mind. Accepted may have 40-50 overall reviews at this point.

As for Material Girls, I suspect the written reviews weren't counted or enabled until today, which makes 5 an accurate number.

Anyone have some input on the Material Girls ratio? I'm thinking 200, but a review of the historical charts suggests it could be a fair amount higher.
