One of my favorite films and pretty much the best western ever made! I have seen the first two Dollar in theatres as well (each for the first time ever), but I have seen this one many times before, yet I certainly can't pass up on a chance to finally check it out on the big screen which is quite a rarity.

Great film, I'm looking forward greatly to the showing! :D

Yup, if there are movies that scream to be seen in theatres, it's Sergio Leone ones. The magnificent final showdown is filmed to take full advantage of the widescreen frame. I saw this one years ago in theatres, and it was an amazing experience.
My favorite Leone movie however remains Once Upon A Time In The West, followed by Once Upon A Time in America, but The Good The Bad And The Ugly would place third.

It was a great experience! Too bad they have shown the original version of 1966 which sadly is a cut version (only 160 minutes as opposed to the longer 180 minutes cut). But other than that, it was superb. Seeing the final showdown on the big screen rocked. Seriously, I have seen this scene about a dozen of times and it still got me on the edge of my seat once again. This scene alone singlehandedly beats everything I have seen in the first two Dollar films.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is probably the most "iconic" Western ever, but I personally think Tombstone is the best ever made!
