And well I think I have been missing something all these years! It was a great movie! I thought it was very well done and one of the best of the 1970s. Scott deserved his Oscar and the film desevered picture! Wow! It was good!

Yeah it was. My dad bought some old movies on DVD a few weeks ago including that, Man who Shot Liberty Valince, Sink the Bismark!, 12 O'Clock High and Hatari.
Still need to watch 12 O'clock and Hatari, but the other 2 were great movies as well.
Me and him just sat and watched Patton and he remembered how much he liked it when he saw it when he was in high school when it came out.
