Apparently Ellen Burstyn was nominated for supporting actress in a made-for-TV film (for Mrs. Harris) for a 14 second role. A FOURTEEN SECOND APPEARANCE.
The Acadmey could defend itself up to this point, but really, not with this. HAHAHAHAHA I just read that on The Envelope... bizarreeeeeeee
And it was in a fantasy/dream/flashback sequence of some sorts too.

My God... I honestly expected to see the best acting in 14 seconds, and got nothing.
Shame on the Emmys. Only a major "24" sweep will make me forgive them for the atrocities that they laid on the audience this year.
