Howie looked really bad leaving the house, can't say I'm sorry to see him go.Other then being obnoxious Howie added almost nothing to the show.So Howie feels betrayed by Chilltown, well boo-hoo.

For once I was too busy to keep up with the house happenings so Howie's eviction was pretty surprising and satisfying to me, I thought Janie was too toast for sure. Good old Chicken George, ridding us of the deadweight over the good player. Too funny that Howie & Marc will be alone in sequester, that should be fun. Still rooting for Dani/Will/Janie, can't believe all three are still in the house.

Hmm, I thought you posted in the feeds/spoiler thread? So, didn't you already know that?

No I was only posting there because everyone was using that thread for some reason to list their favorites and stuff, I avoided most spoilers, or rather tried to but ended up seeing a couple things anyway.

He looked like he should. He had every right to be pissed off.

What was all the haloopa over the house supposedly applauding Janelle's elimination in the competition? They were clapping for Mike winning HOH, not Janelle getting hit in the face with a pie.

Janelle should be the LAST person in the house complaining about being overly zealous, considering all the times she and Howie ran around screaming whenever they or someone in their alliance won an HOH or POV.

And WTF at Chicken George saying that he wasn't going to put Janelle up because "she's put so much into the game" and is such a great player, and then turning around and explaining that he wants to put Will up because he's the "best player in the house". Either I'm missing something, or that guy is totally whack.

And Howie. Oh Howie. Everyone's sitting in the same room and Mike is completely working George over who he should nominate (and doing a good job at it, btw), then George asks for Howie's opinion and Howie just shrugs and says nothing. 30 seconds later he's on the block, and then (and only then) does he start defending himself.

Talk about too little, too late.

Why? Because someone lied to him? That's what the game is about. Everyone on there at some point or another will have to backstab someone, even will and mike will eventually have to go after each other, more likely than not.

Boogie pretty much tells George "you better not nominate Will cause if you do someone's going to use that special power".Then George gives Howie a chance to make his case and he doesn't stand up for himself or Janie. He waits and starts going off when it's too late and he's on the block with no way to save himself. What a dummy. I'm so happy Howie's gone.

I think it was more about Boogie being all "bros before hoes, dude!" and acting generally slimy about it.

Or maybe it's just because I hate Boogie.

Why does Evil Dr. Will have such stupid friends? God.

That was fake reasoning (for putting Will up). Will ASKED Chicken George to put him up. That is the reason why George was going to put him up. The only reason. He felt he was safe that way, because Will asked him to put him up. Who's going to argue if someone asks you to put them up?

He was not going to put up Boogie or Will originally, because he had promised them safety (because of Boogie's HOH room talks). Boogie had actually already threatened George with the power earlier than the red room incident they showed on TV (Boogie had threatened him in the HOH room earlier in the day), and George read between the lines. George didn't feel it was right to put up Janelle, which would have been a true backdooring, since Janelle did not get to play for veto, as well as because Janelle has been playing this game tough, has won so many times before, and also never went after George when she was in power. That was his reasoning.

Boogie went at it again in the red room scene we saw on the TV episode because, like Will said himself, Will had "forgotten" to tell Boogie that Will had specifically asked George to put him up. George was going to put up Will as the replacement nominee, UNTIL Boogie's second confrontation as well as Howie's inability to defend himself and explain why he deserves to still be here. George took it all seriously.

Unfortunately, you don't see all of this on the show, especially this show, because they had to cram a POV competition, a POV ceremony, and an HOH competition all into one episode.

Me, I think George put Howie up on the block because Howie said his "little girls are hot". ;)

PEACE, Mike.

This game is very much reminding me of one of the first games I played on BOM, a big brother type game where weekend scores about movies played a factor in who got heads of household and such. AgentX and I formed a bond pretty similar to Mike and Will, which took us through to the last 3 or so people, so I know first hand how that goes and am not moved or surprised when the long knives come out.

It seems like the main skill to BB is maintaining as much trust as you can but then judging the right moment to turn your back on someone. It's cruel but it's fun too.

Dingo over at Hamsterwatch said it best: Howie was not the classiest player in BB history (so Mike's sarcastic "a class act" line didn't have any impact whatsoever), and he left in true Howie fashion. Howie fans expected nothing less, and if you hate Howie, you're not going to see it that way. I've already said that I have a major bias towards Howie and Janelle, and that will never change, even if this is the last I'll ever see of them. There's no need for me to justify it any further. Howie fans understand, Howie haters don't.

I can't stand anyone at this point except for Janelle and Dr. Will. Everyone else just does some really stupid moves except for Danielle (Janelle too, but she is so watchable when she is cornered). Anyone feel like Dr. Will doesn't really care who goes out each week, he just adapts his game to the situation. I feel like Danielle is getting there, I think she was too fixated on alliances the past few weeks but she is adapting as well.

Boogie has learned from Will and his season 2 mistakes in terms of playing in the house, but in terms of the jury he is killing himself (I doubt he makes it to the final 2 anyways). Will hung him out to dry in front of George making him a target. Boogie made a big mistake in winning HOH this week. He could have used his Coup powers this week (if necessary) and competed for HOH next week. Now he doesn't get to use his power and is shut out of the HOH competition next week.

George should have called Boogie and Will's bluff. He should have either called out Will or made Boogie use his Coup powers. He had a better chance with Janelle and Howie in the house, or Boogie making himself a target by using the coup.

Howie made his typical bonehead move before getting nominated, but it was great TV (everything after his non defense).

I agree with everything in this post, especially only being able to tolerate Janelle and Will. And, I especially agree about Howie. As tough as it was for me, the biggest Howie fan on here (probably only one, at this point), he really did shoot himself in the foot and could not recover from some big mistakes, post-veto ceremony.

Yeah, at least he shaved his mustache off.

Anyone think Erika looked better on BB4 because the rest of the houseguests were so despicable? Jack was the only person I liked on that show and once he left Erika seemed like the most genuine or most likable. However, that is like being the tallest midget.

Can't Stand

George-I just think he is so fake and insincere. I can't stand all the speeches and "heartfelt" chats he has with the other guests. I can't stand the way he plays either, but it may be just that he has no clue what to do in the house. I can't understand how some people think he is playing this masterful game. He reminds me of Chance the Gardner in "Being There" people mistake his simple mindedness for shrewdness.

Erika-I can't take another crocodile tears scene with her. She is actually playing the game better than most and has a decent chance of making the final two.

Tolerate

James-I have always liked James, but he makes some boneheaded mistakes. He also gets too secure in "alliances of convenience", and backstabs a week too soon. If he is as premature on BB as he is in bed, I really feel for Sara.

Mike-He dropped from my like category over the last two weeks. I think he is playing a good game in the house in getting towards his destination, but if he makes final 2, I am not sure he can beat anybody. I am definitely in the minority but I found him entertaining. However, he just become overbearing and too cocky like James does before he gets evicted. Reminded me of Eddie Haskell, when notified of gaining coup d'etat power.

Danielle-Great player, but like Erika cries too much. I can't stand all this emotional garbage. "Yes, I backstabbed you but it really hurt me." I don't care.

Like

Janelle-Has played a really weak game. Aligned with the wrong people, at the wrong time, pretty clueless about her situation, and who was really running the house. However, she doesn't cry on cue to show she cares, is relatively straight forward and honest (well as much as you can be and survive in this game).

Will-Lies and stabs everyone in the back, but is relatively straightforward about it. Provides about 1/3 of the entertainment value for the whole cast.

Very good analysis mdana. I think you pinpointed some things clearly and pretty spot on about the houseguests. Especially James.

Mike can be entertaining at times (sorry Libs), but his obnoxious, over-the-top attitude just pisses me off so much. Where Howie's obnoxiousness is funny, Mike's is just too much. It was great to see the two collide on the Sunday show, and it's too bad Howie couldn't get into a brawl with him. Mike would be in the fetal position in seconds.

OMG yes!!

I always thought Erika was a fake bitch during BB4, but she ultimately proved to be the lesser of the evils when compared to wretches like Alison and Jun.

So, James is a whiny bitch.

But Janelle was totally in the right there. They fought over the H doll, and she went to grab the M after that.

Dude, the Big Brother producers just SHOWED James up BIG TIME. The producers didn't shy away from the controversy and try to cover it; instead they put it out full force and showed the video, and proved James' bitching and whining WRONG. Booyah. Janelle kicks ass. James is a whiny bitch.

PB, baby, PB.

I love Will's comments talking about James whining. Will: "James is complaining Big Brother is rigging the game in Janelle's favour. He's right, the game is being rigged in Janelle's favour, and I'm the one doing it."

and paraphrasing on this one:

"James is saying that Janelle kicked him, and pushed him, and did this and that, and pulled his wisdom teeth out and - you know what, I think I just saw a girl whoop his ass."

Oh Will, you know I love you.

Okay, I got my James bashing and Will/Janelle praising fix in, I'm done. Heh.

PEACE, Mike.
