For the ratios, I'm thinking 125 for Pulse (compared to White Noise), 125 for Step Up (compared to Take The Lead), 80 for Zoom (standard kid-flick ratio), and probably 150 for World Trade Center.
Xiayun, DP, or any other ratio expert - your input is greatly appreciated when you get here.

I had a good laugh this morning:
"This movie was this summers worst piece of trash. I hope it dies in a fire."
"terrible movie, acting sucks, script sucks, not fluid at all. i dont know how i was able to stay awake during the whole movie. waste of 6 bucks... "
Go Tim Allen!

I think Step Up will be higher. Take the Lead appealed to an older audience. Step Up is going strictly for the teen crowd. Other than than everything looks good.

Stick It is a better comparison for Step up, so I say close to 200. I have Zoom higher at 100.

Two hours passed, and not much has changed. Even the # of written reviews are low.

Looks like it may be a dud of a weekend. I can see everything but WTC grossing under $10M this weekend.

It's too early in the day to count out Step Up and Pulse

Zoom is actually the most clogged, but I have a strange feeling it will have a very high ratio if the grade holds. A ratio of 150-200 wouldn't surprise me.

Poor Tim Allen, at least he has Santa Clause to look forward to. I still think he needs to do another TV Series.

Pulse 20, +4, B+
Zoom 23, +7, D+ (down from C-)
I have sent another complaint to Yahoo about the partial update problem. Like it will do any good.

I think that the days of Yahoo being a useful predictor is coming to an end. IIRC IMDb also used to update much more frequently but now do it in batch. Not sure what the reason is. Maybe they realize that there are a tons of people spamming them with refresh every hour which it can do away with if they update less consistently

World Trade Center 1817, 309 Friday, +244, B+
Step Up 333, +280, B
Pulse 100, +80, B- (down from B+)
Zoom 177, +154, C- (up from D+)
Not yet, my friend. RT's persistence paid off. But I do agree the ratio is getting harder to predict, as well as making early projections since the pace is all messed up.
I too think Zoom is looking at a high ratio. The kid films that are not animated have generally seen bigger ratios than CGI ones, and the grade is a killer.

I think things will get ironed out eventually. The last e-mail I got from them acknowledged the problem but said the resources to fix it wouldn't be available until the end of the Fall. As for the ratios, they should stabilize in time, but it's obvious the transition to the new homepage has made things more difficult for awhile.
Now that we're unclogged, Pulse needs to get moving. The first two shows at my theater had 5 people total, so we'll see if the evening business is much better.

Looks like Pulse and Zoom are both flops. So much for Kristen Bell's early attempt at a movie career. TV stars rarely translate well to film.

Well, it was always expected to flop based on tracking. Same with Zoom.
