Looking good for JTMD. Not so for MV.

I don't think people that are seeing MV are rushing out to write reviews about it. It will still make about 27-30 mill OW. You go out on a limb for a movie that seems like is doing medicore business but that you predicted would do well. SHOCKING!
I didn't predict it to do well. 29 mill is well?

I'm liking my predictions of 22.5 for MV, a little too high but still decent, 21 for Ant Bully, which I think it can come close to now, and 15.2 for John Tucker, which may be low, but was on the very high end of most predictions.

Ant Bully is not going to come close to 21...

Looks like a $5 million opening day for John Tucker and Ant Bully, and $6-7 million for Miami Vice, IMO.

They are on the old front page. MV with the picture. It doesn't have as much of an effect as it once did, but based on two weeks ago it still does matter.
I'm thinking MV will have about 6.1m. JT about 5.8m. Ant Bully about 5.2m

Tucker and Ant Bully seem to be losing more and more steam.

Mostly frontpage effect I'd say. Still nice for MV though even with the picture there. I think it is now clogged actually.

Nice late boost for Vice. Definitley that type of audience.
I'll say:
Miami Vice - 7.5-8.0 mil
John Tucker - 5.1-5.6 mil
Ant Bully - 3.2-3.7 mil

Based on my theater today, Ant Bully isn't even going to touch John Tucker for Friday. Kids movies do really well at my theater and Tucker easily doubled Ant Bully business. Night business was dreadful for Ant, I know kids movies do all the matinee business but usually the good kids movies can also do some solid night business.......Ant did pretty much neither.

MV - 6.6m
JT Must Die - 5.9m
Ant Bully - 3.3m
The last few hours only really make me doubt Ant Bully. Weak review total, and the frontloading makes me doubt the ratio more. I think banjo is right.

I'm liking the way my derby looks, I went the highest on John Tucker and lowest on Ant Bully. Hopefully holdovers go my way...

Final:
Miami Vice 825, +30, C+
John Tucker Must Die 975, +17, B
Ant Bully 260, +4, B-
I think it's clogged, but it doesn't really matter. I stick with the same projections I just made.

I'd guess $95,000 for LMS and under $400,000 for Scoop.

I'm curious, if Collateral had a ratio of 94 (and it has many similarities with MV),
and another action/drama The Bourne Supremacy had a ratio of 77, and there has been a
trend to lower ratios since those films, then why would Miami Vice have a ratio higher than
100?
Yeah, the grade of C+ isn't great, but I don't think it's so low to have a major impact.
It is based on a TV show, so it has a fanbase, but so did Bourne Supremacy. I think
the ratio will be in the 100 area.

Younger audience. Both of those were mpre then 70% over 25. I doubt this is even 60% over 25.
