If this is what audiences will see, its chance at $200 million just flew out the window, IMO.

 What the hell are they smoking at WB's marketing dept?

After releasing such a brilliant teaser a year in advance (attached to Harry Potter, of all movies), you'd think that WB actually wanted to create a massive hit. Instead, we got that. And from what I remember, the teasers weren't attached to any big films this year. The last time I saw it was with Over the Hedge, I think. That's a real screw-up.

Yeah, the new trailer is a HUGE WTF. It's almost like a puzzle to figure out what the hell the movie is even about, just an awful put together trailer, it's like they just picked a bunch of random scenes and smashed them together and thats what came out. From that trailer, the movie looks pretty bad, it also looks incredibly bland.

I actually think Royale has a good shot at beating it OW now.

Yeah seriously, I never thought it'd make 200 mil anyways, but this makes me doubt 150 mil+ now. First teasers were cute, this one takes the weird thing wayyyyy too far. Everyones gonna be looking around with a huh? look on their faces.

The WB strikes again!

I still think it has a very good shot at being the biggest film of the Winter, but thats not saying alot, it could do around 140m or so and that would probably be enough looking at the competition. Charlotte's Web looks pretty awful but still might be able to do 100m on the popularity alone ( hard to say ) Flushed Away i'd say has a good chance to beat out Happy Feet though.

There could be an upset with something like Nativity Story or Casino Royale beating these children flicks, you never know.

I'm sure that either Charlotte's Web or Eragon will be 150 mil+, I'd bet on at least one of them reaching 175 mil+ actually. Happy Feet won't win winter.

its airing with the ant bully.

how many people couold see it??

besides, for a kids trailer its funny. and the animation looks incredible. but yeah if monster house can get 23 million against all kinda of competition, happy feet will easily break 40 million.

This trailer shattered my faith in the film.

Let's hope that not many will see The Ant Bully anyway and many many more saw the great teaser with Harry Potter...

Right on, BJ!

I thought that trailer was brill, and even if audiences don't think it's the best, WOM will change all that once the movie is out.

41/156, although I wouldn't be surprised if it's lower. And it had so much potential...

Hmm, I still think it's passing $200 million due to being the big family movie of November.

Opening weekend - $49.5 million

Total gross - $202 million
