you can have whateer preference .. but kittens are by default, cuter.

Kittens are cute, until they grow into the ferocious scratching, non-stop meowing, totally independent "I'm so much better than you" attitude of a CAT.
Dogs on the other hand are cute and adorable as youngeons, and then they grow to be a "man's best friend" (or a woman's best friend).

one of my cats is almost 3 years old and she still looks just like a kitten, just a little bigger. she's still as nice and friendly as ever too.
