I'm thinking $6.5-7 million each.

I'd give Little Man 7m and Dupree 6.5m. Pirates at about 20.2m.

I'm going to say about $7.2M for Dupree, and probably $9M even for Little Man. The evening business for the latter was strong, so I think it will indeed beat YMD this weekend.

Both could end up over $20 million though... it's Kicking and Screaming vs. Monster-in-Law all over again... wonder if either can stand up to next week's line-up though (including two new comedies)

Ratios?
I suspect Clerks II will be really high (300+), LitW medium size (150-200), and Monster House and Super-Ex low (less then 100).

I agree on Clerks II. I was thinking 130 for LITW, but you might be right in that it's mostly hardcore M Night fans left, which can increase the ratio. MH should have a higher percentage of adults then OTH and Cars IMO. I'm thinking 90-100. Super Ex might be 95, although I could see anything between 80-110. I actually get the feeling it will be at the higher end, so 105.

So Clerks2 needs about 1200 reviews on Friday to gaurantee a $10 mil weekend? Sounds good to me.

Village had a ratio of 130, so yeah LitW with 130 sounds right, maybe a bit lower depending if it ends up with better reviews or gets slammed like Village.

Or higher if it gets trashed worse then the Village.

I'm thinking around 130-140 for Lady in the Water, 90-100 for Monster House, 240-260 for Clerks II and 110-120 for My Super Ex-Girlfriend.

DP, what's your thinking behind Super Ex being higher?

I get the feeling it will divide audiences a bit more then similar movies. It seems more likely to me that people will have an opinion about the subject.
