Come on, Pirates, hit that sweet, sweet spot. I've banked too much on it for it to disappoint.

That's based on the ratio I expected earlier today. xiayun and DP07 are much lower on that ratio.

With 4 more updates to go, I see this finishing somewhere around 7000. Maybe 7500.

It will beat Sith 1-day and Spider-man weekend, that much is sure so far. The icing on top is to be determined.

Let's just say Revenge of the Sith is giving its own fingernails the oral form of trimming. :clever:

Another big update coming. It's excellent, dolce. It's starting to unclogged which means we have a clearer idea of what's it gonna make.

I see it at $45m for friday. Around 7000 ratings, and around 150 ratio.
So, pretty much devastating.

Seriously? I read the last five pages and got nothing except for something about clogging. So, its going to break 115 for sure? I read a couple pages back in the morning that Sith had 4000 reviews when Pirates only had, like, 850. So how is Pirates beating its opening?
Thank-you Kenspy, Jon, Eventine, and Nebs for answering my panic-stricken question. I was drowning there for a minute.
Don't be surprised if I come crashing through this thread again sometime after the next few updates freaking out and begging for juicy details again. How exciting (in a sort of cute and twisted way).

Star wars has a BUNCH of fanboys and a much bigger male audience so they are more likely to go to there computer and vote there rating. Where as Pirates is pretty much split 50-50 in male-female audience. Female don't tend to go on the internet and rank there movies. Did I explain that right? Anyone?

Actually here. Females are not going to rush to the computer and grade the movie. There that should explain it.

Yeah I agree, that is a really important point. Honestly, this might be a slight female advantage during the day.
Because when you have a movie that is 56 percent male versus 50 percent male it seems like a small percent. But for a 100 million dollar movie that's like 3/4 of a million people difference in the genders.
