I don't know....as said before, the lack of a strong male lead could hurt it...
It will open above $14 million, I am sure about that. But not much above, methinks.

I original said $55m total for this but it looks like it can open to atleast $25m and perhaps a $101m total.

Wow, its total could be $40 or $50 m off even the highest predictions. This film just came out of nowhere, and I think has taken the title of biggest surprise of the summer thus far by a mile.

Run predictions:
2nd weekend: $17.2 m -37.2%
3rd weekend: (Dupree underperforms) $11.18 m -35%
4th weekend: (Super Ex Girlfriend overperforms) $6.37 m -43%
93.05 m after 4 weekends,
Total: $116 m (4.25 multiplier)
But depending on its hold against competition, this film could go alot higher ($130 m)

It'll drop more than 40% this coming weekend, but I think it could still reach $100+ million. Very impressive.

I see it passing 100 Million. I think it will finish with 110million. Which is fantastic and the film was great too. Anne Hathaway is doing really well, though Streep made the movie.

I was pulling for this movie and even I am shocked at how well it's done. It's a fun, energetic flick with some witty dialogue and a killer performance by Streep. I see WOM as being very strong.
My favorite part of the movie was watching just how amazingly stereotypical the audiences walking into Superman and Prada for the 9:00 shows were: Prada was predominently couples (from teens to 50's) and hot girls. Superman was dorky couples (all ages) and lots of fat men wearing black and/or "Incredibles" t-shirts. It was really funny.

Which means we're both on crack cause Prada's going to end up with $50 million by Friday. Go figure.

Well, that makes this entire place one big crackhouse, considering that's what pretty much the average prediction for it was.

Great Flick. Women are going to eat this up. Except great legs despite a large opening weekend. 100 Mill is most definitly in sight.

The whole scene trailer was quite effective, IMO. People didn't want it to end, I really liked it myself and wanted to see more. I can see more movies doing this in the future.

This film just keeps amazing me, its about to pass superman in daylies when superman opened with 52.6m and Prada opened with 27m. With the way Prada is preforming now I think 110m is a lock. But I hope the movie will land between a 4.5-5 multipier, Prada would make 121m with a 4.5 and 135m with a 5. And if it made 135m it would triple my original predition
This FILM WAS AWSOME, ITS MY FAVORITE OF THE YEAR SO FAR!!!!

Not only will it likely winde up as the sleeper smash of the summer, but Streep's buzz will likely net her a Golden Globe nomination.

$115 million would be a good guess right now. Man, this is really huge...
