I joined.
The Republic of Gospel Believers is a tiny, devout nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 6 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The large government concentrates mainly on Religion & Spirituality, although Education and Healthcare are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 21%. A substantial private sector is dominated by the Woodchip Exports industry.
Voting is voluntary. Crime is moderate, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Gospel Believers's national animal is the lamb and its currency is the dollar.
Gospel Believers is ranked 4th in the region and 66,979th in the world for Most Subsidized Industry.

Bump.
So far we have 9 member states.
NCAR, why don't you join our region, World of KJ. We are in dire need of a country with some moral clarity.
I posted the instructions on how to do it above.

Is your region a UN member, because I prefer to stay out of the UN, at least for now?
I belong to a small Non-UN Christian region right now.

I am anti-UN, but I can't stop the members from joining UN, if they so desire. THe UN delegate from World Of KJ (of which there is none so far) would not have any additional authority in the region, though.

I'm thinking about outlawing fullscreen dvds.
The Rogue Nation of Sunshine Valley
Location: The East Pacific
The Rogue Nation of Sunshine Valley is a tiny, economically powerful nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-working, cynical population of 5 million are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.
There is no government in the normal sense the word; however, a small group of community-minded, pro-business individuals juggles the competing demands of Commerce, Defence, and Law & Order. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Gambling, Trout Farming, and Uranium Mining industries.
Crime is a serious problem, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Sunshine Valley's national animal is the yeti, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is baby flesh.

A nation that outlaws fullscreen dvds is a nation that the Republic of Gospel Believers may count as an ally. 8)

The Republic of Rustopholus hates both widescreen dvds and bibles. They must learn the ways of the new world.
An ultimatum has been given. They have twenty days to comply or face a full land, air, and sea invasion.

"Elections have been outlawed, the government is avowedly atheist, and it is illegal to make racist remarks in public."
My goverment's policies are bearing fruit. We will soon be a utopian secular dictatorship.

Am thinking about pursuing my lifelong ambition, which is to create the Republic of Lapland. Even if it is only in a computer game.
Long live Lapland !!!

I've been playing for well over two years now. MY first country was lost (A liberal paradise, with perfect stats across the board >:-) ) But the new one I started about fivce months ago is doing very well.
I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recomend EVERYONE to read Jennifer Government. I have Syrup on reserve at my library (so I don't know what it's like) But J. Gov. was an absolutely amazing read.

I'm #2. But I'm not worried about a rebellion. All their leaders and critics of the government have been disappearing left and right lately. Besides, I have all the guns.
Anyway, it's a moot point. I mean that people all love me. Right?

Syrup was much better than Jennifer Government. It stuck to the same premise till ethe ned, while Jennifer starts out really good, but then falls flat losing the sight of the message it was going for.

You're listed, but not in the rankings yet; you have to wait a day for that.

My country is located in the region of Western Europe, and stubbornly, I'm staying there, in my conquest for UN Delegate of big regions.
