And their votes didn't count for The Sopranos, heh.

There's been no mention from any parties about the acting stuff...which is beyond odd.

Yea, as much as it pains me, 24 is much more of a lock than 6FU.
Speaking of 24, do any of you watch it regularly? I'm gonna start it up after I finish The Sopranos. I've heard nothing but positive things about it, though.

If any of you guys are near a TV, an episode of the funniest show on post-Arrested Development TV, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, is on in 7 minutes on Fox. Yummy. Thanks for nothing, Emmy!

I loved the first season, liked the second season, and stopped watching near the end of the shitty third. I saw a few eps of the fourth season, was unimpressed. But 5 was crackerjack entertainment, actually better than season one. There was no better drama on TV this last year.

I was impressed by the It's Always Sunny pilot but never really loved an episode after that. I was watching one of the repeats on Fox the other day and was a little bored, frankly.
I think the show has huge potential, though. The cast is great. I'll probably tune into the second season if word's good.

Cool, thanks. I've always wanted to start watching it, but I have never had time.

The episode is "Charlie Got Molested." Funny, but the weakest episode, sadly.

I suppose Huff also has a shot at a spot.
I know, I know, but it's gotta be higher up there than Rome, at least.

I'm most surprised about the Rescue Me inclusion.

That seems to be the end of the info stream, for now. Hopefully Tom O'Neil or someone can unearth the acting finalists.

I had no idea we were getting all this information these past few days
I had to skim through the last couple of pages because I think there were SFU spoilers... not sure though. After having seen the first season of SFU and about to see the next 4, I'm pulling for it all the way especially for a complied achievement rather than the season itself, which I have yet to see.
My dream nominee List for Drama would be...
24
House
Lost
Rescue Me
Six Feet Under
I think that would be GREAT. It could almost be anyone's game because alot of them might cancel each other out.
Grey's Antomy will most probably get in. So will The West Wing.
When are the actual nominees announced?

One week from this morning, 'Fiki.
And the ceremony is August 27th this year. Moved up almost a month from the usual date.
Dream Drama
24
Lost
Six Feet Under
Veronica Mars
Rescue Me
The fifth slot was between Six Feet Under and Big Love. I loved Big Love, but that last season of Six Feet Under was excellent.
If Kristen Bell gets nominated, I will seriously lay an egg out of pure happiness. I realize Drama is almost out of the question, with big competition, but Kristen Bell deserves recognition.
... if the show gets a drama nod... well, I'll eat my sneakers. Out of pure happiness!

X, drama is out of the question. It didn't make the top 10.

I read that the list isn't 100% accurate, even though it's darn close to accurate.

Yea, it's not. Six Feet Under is the only one, I think, that hasn't been officially confirmed. But, even if it didn't get in, there is still The Shield or Rome that could have gotten in and I would think they would get in over M considering how small of a show it is.

Yeah, there's no way Mars made the top 10. But I think as long as Kristen Bell gets a nom, which I think she has a shot at, it should guarantee a full season 3, which is all I want at the moment.

I really like your picks Libs.
Your drama seems exactly what they would do but I'm really hoping and think Six Feet Under still has a great shot of nabbing a spot.
And I really don't think they would snub Jennifer Garner at least for a nom (she deserves the win though).
Also, I don't see how Eva Longoria can miss out on a nom this year... her storylines maybe weren't, but her acting (both comedy and drama aspects) was one of the only consistently great things about the second season!

Nice list, but boo to no Six Feet Under.

I've been gone the past few days, so I haven't really been keeping up, but those lists seem about right. No real surprises.

So they are announced on Friday? I hope Lauren Graham gets the nominations she's deserved for so long (of course she deserves a win, but the first step is a nominee). I also hope Kristen Bell gets nominated for Best Actress. Ellen Pompeo should too. Is Katherine Heigl one of the final ones for Supporting Actress?

The new voting system doesn't cover the supporting categories, so there's no panel and no final fifteen for them.
I'm hoping the Emmy's desire to shake things up carries over to the supporting categories, though.
Katherine Heigl appears to be in the running, but I wouldn't count on a nomination. With Sandra Oh a shoo-in, I think Chandra Wilson has a better shot than Heigl.

If Ellen Pompeo is nominated, and Kristen Bell is snubbed, I'm going to go apeshit on the forum.
Lauren Graham's chances would be solid, if it wasn't for the damned Housewives. It's possible all four will be nominated.
