 National Treasure 2 plot
http://www.usatoday.com/life/people/200 ... htm?csp=34
Quote: Screenwriter Terry Rossio revealed the likely title of the third Pirates film, due Memorial Day: At World's End, which ties to the film's cliffhanger ending. "It's the pirates' last stand; the end of an era," Rossio said of the third, which sees the introduction of Chow Yun-Fat as a Chinese pirate. The Caribbean scenes have all been shot, but the cast will reunite in late July and August to shoot interiors.
Rossio then reteams with Bruckheimer for National Treasure 2, which finds Nicolas Cage's character, Ben Gates, exploring an Old West mystery.

Woohoo. Can it be as dull as the first film? I hope Sean Bean comes back. I wanted him to win.

It's not them going to the old west, it's them exploring a mystery about the old west. Much like Hanks and Tatou explored a mystery about the early Christian era without going back to those times themselves.

And I thought going to a movie website meant not having to look at descriptions of sexual encounters. Jeeeeeeesus did KJ prove me wrong! (And definitely not today being the first time)

The first was some harmless fun, I hope they can improve on the second one, though.

I'm still shocked that my biggest complaint for a Jerry Bruckheimer film would be how damn dull it was. I never imagined myself wishing there was more action in a movie by him.

If by amazing you mean bland and repetitive, then yes, it was.

Wow. I'm surprised how average the WOM is on the internet. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and all of my friends who've seen it love it.
As much as I enjoy the original, I donno if a sequel is going to work. 'Course, I also said that about Pirates of the Caribbean, and that seems to be going well.
