Post Food Network
I thiiiink we had a Food Network thread sometime long ago, but... meh.

I know a lot of people watch Food Network, even those who don't even watch a lot of TV. And I know I've heard some people talk about it here.

So let's discuss.

It's pretty much the default channel for me. When nothing's on, something's always on.

Discuss your favorite shows.

And the shows that suck. (Because there are a few of them.)

I'm addicted to the Food Network.

I watch $40-A-Day all the time, even though I've noticed Rachael Ray has gotten progressively more obnoxious and loud as the years have passed. That talk show she has coming up is not going to be pretty.

I also love me some Paula Deen, although I would never cook anything she makes because I swear she uses like nineteen sticks of butter and cream cheese in every single recipe.

*sigh* I miss Food Network. We had to downgrade to Basic Limited cable, and our channels stop at 25..... and Food Network is Channel 26.

My favorite shows on there are Unwrapped (I love learning how things work) and the Network Challenges, especially the cake and pastry challenges.

I actually think Racheal Ray gets more tolerable with repeated viewings. I used to not be able to stand her, but I just kind of tune it out now. "EVOO" would be fine if she didn't follow it up with "extra virgin olive oil" every time, as if even first-time viewers couldn't deduce what that means. I don't watch 30-Minute Meals that often, though.

But I like $40-a-Day a lot. And her other one. She's still annoying, but entertaining shows they are, indeed.

Paula Deen is fun to watch.

I don't watch Good Eats a lot, but I do like it, and Alton Brown is quite hilarious, I must say.

Everyday Italian and Barefoot Contessa are pretty much the nicest looking cooking shows ever. I don't watch those too often, though.

Do they still play those original Japanese Iron Chef episodes, the ones with the hilarious dubbing?

I LOVE the food network. Rachel Ray is fav although I think with all the shows she does and eating she does that she may be putting on pounds. A breast enchancement wouldn't hurt either but I still enjoy her.

The gray haired lady whose name I can't recall is another fav. I love her country home cookin and her twang and her show.

I can't stand the lady who does in your face Italian all the time nor the "gay" male chef who likes to make quirky yet unfunny comments about his cooking.

College = a lot downtime = a lot of Food Network

You know what's the cockiest, most ridiculous show ever? Throwdown. Who does Bobby Flay think he is?

I find myself completely unamused by Ham on the Street.

I've only seen a couple episodes, but I like Alton Brown's new show, Feasting on Asphalt.
