Hey guys, some of you may have heard about it, some may not. Basically, NationStates is a game that lets you run your own country, as if you were a dictator. Once you set up your country, you can move it any region in the game. I set up a region for the World of KJ's members, you can find it here, and its name is (surprise surpirse) World of KJ.

We already have two members, namely me (Republic of Hapless Despair) and KidRock69x (Confederacy of James Madison).

My country is a bastion of capitalism and ideas. The ideas of humanity are debated on a scale not seen since Lyceum. Ideas pour like rivers from the depths of the greatest thinkers of modern times. We are a society that places the individual on a pillar. Our society of philosopher kings is united to promote capitalism and the ideals of freedom.

The Republic of Davidpia is a tiny, economically powerful nation, renowned for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 5 million are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

There is no government in the normal sense the word; however, a small group of community-minded, pro-business individuals devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Social Welfare and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Furniture Restoration, Information Technology, and Woodchip Exports industries.

Crime is a serious problem. Davidpia's national animal is the skunk, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the david.

I'll probably join when finals are over, I already have a plan in the works to set up a dictatorship with AgentX, might as well get some practice in before the big day :wink:

The tiny government devotes most of its attentions to Social Welfare, with areas such as Law & Order and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. The average income tax rate is 3%. A small but healthy private sector is dominated by the Trout Farming industry.

Crime is a serious problem, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Confudled Beings's national animal is the Skank Ho and its currency is the Funk-o.

Mariahland is a tiny, ultra-liberal, sexually promiscuous nation, notable for its utterly unnotable , barren, inhospitable, super-hot, extra-sweet landscape. Its hardly working, unintelligent population of 59 million enjoys extensive civil freedoms as long as they are favourable towards Mariah, particularly in socialist issues, while business tends to be more regulated, that is, when there is business to be done.

The tiny government devotes most of its attentions to Socialist Propaganda, with areas such as Lawn & Mower Problems receiving less than 1% of the GDP, and Religion & Spirituality not only not receiving any funds, but being taxed out of existence. The average income tax rate is 89%. A small but unhealthy private sector is dominated by the CD Production Industry, which as a result of filesharing collapsed 5 years ago.

Crime is a huge problem, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons and care, with the money diverted towards the construction of extra-plush mansions and cuddly teddy bear collections (so very cute, so very, very cute). Injuries incured from back-up dancing are an increasing problem. As well, the mandatory 3 1/2 hours of listening to Mariah might be the cause of a wave of suicides, and epidemic barfing. Mariahland's national animal is the Butterfly Ho and its currency is the Honey Due. May God help its people.

There no reason to keep it a secret, its not like anyone is really going ot give us any trouble, we'll just shot them...and we both know about my panaache for fork stabbings.

But there is plenty of roleplaying (including wars) going on on the forums over there.

Well, I'm not going to start my own country lest under my mishandling of its affairs it should end up like above said, and previously associated with me, society.
