All I'll say is this: For a movie SUPPOSEDLY so Anticipated like this movie is claimed to be, it sure has the quietest hype and marketing I've ever seen for a superhero movie OR Really no one cares outside the internet.. I think anything is possible at this point and it very well may do F4 numbers.. No one really knows until the end of June.. You know?? Giving thought to it some more, if WB were so confident in this movie, why did they wait to release it when they did instead of go head to head with X3 in May???

BKB is right, WB are scared lil biatches. I wish BKB ran WB... actually I wish he ran Fox " I want AVP2 to go up against Spider-Man 3 and I dont wanna hear any shit, AVP2 will kick the spiders ass "

If the Script were light years beyond better than what that script was floating around awhile back for AVP II, then YES, I'd go head to head even if I did get my ass handed to me.. At least I'd be confident enough in the product I made to warrant a shot at it.. Right now, if they use that piece of buffalo dung they call a storyline for AVP II and the whole WALMART Fiasco storyline, then I say bury the fuc*er and bury the writers for not taking the storyline back to one of the homeworld's of either the ALIEN or PREDATOR.. Dumb Fuc*s, let me write the story for heaven sakes..
As for WB?? I'll bet right now there very nervous as to whther this movie really is going to do well which is why they released it 2 days earlier than what they did.. All I'll say is this: SUPERMAN RETURNS has exactly 1 week to do what it's gonna do before POTC 2 Annihilates it..

Why not??? DC is supposed to be such a great brand of comic and SUPERMAN is such an Iconic Superhero and so well known to teens and kids, that why shouldn't they have gone head to head??? If WB is so sure this is a hit, then take the chance.. It would've been a classic MARVEL vs DC Lineup with MARVEL destroying DC.. Right now, I think WB is fearing for this movie's success.. I'm Remote Viewing right now and seeing this movie taking a bath at the box office with WB and what little fans there are of this movie putting every spin possible on it to make it out to be a hit when it will be a disaster..

BKB, from a studio's point-of-view, it makes no logicial sense to have two potential $200+ million films released in the same weekend with the exact same audience.
And it's not like the 4th of July weekend isn't a good release date. It's a great release date.

Studios aren't there to take a chance, they're there for profit.

That was really the only logical release date for WB to take other than say a late July slot or a week earlier had Click not been coming out. Still - just being released on July 4th weekend does not guarantee success - witness Wild Wild West.
Fantastic Four however had probably the best marketing of any film last year - Fox introduced the characters to people who didnt know them. WB has a different dilemma - everyone know's superman - they just have to make the film look damn good to regular moviegoers - which they are struggling with at the moment. Lets see what happens.

Don't; it's fine where it is. The loonies are so convinced of this film's inevitable success that it is unfathomable to them that it will gross less than $200 million. But you may lose some members if you drop the bar. Just keep it as is, so we can have a larger group to brag with once the film disappoints.

This fanbase you speak of?? Point me in the direction of this in the REAL WORLD outside the internet comprised of about 1%.. There is no fanbase outside the internet and I wouldn't be surprised if many people don't even know this is coming out in what?? 3 weeks?? WB Blew it on the Marketing for this..

It's farther away from PotC plus if it's a solid film, wom could spread for the weekend.
