Seriously, isn't that pushing it a bit?

I mean, they should have went with Sinister Six right away then and saved Venom for the fourth film! I think that Venom himself is deserving of a movie with just him as a villain.

I wonder who #4 is... Maybe Man-Wolf (John Jameson)?

Thats what I said 2 years ago at BOM. I have always maintained that they should have went for Sinister 6 for Spidery 3 and save Venom for part 4. I guess the 4th is probably Lizard Man

It's either Wolf-Man or The Lizard. I'm willing to bet that whichever villain it is, it's dispatched during the opening 15 minutes.

Maybe it's Shocker.

Oh, maybe it's Carnage but just as Cletus Kasady. They might be aiming for a symboite war in the 4th film, but I dont know. Raimi said he wasnt that fond of Venom awhile ago.

Hopefully we dont really get Venom in Spidey3 but more of how hes going to be evolved and saving the rest for Spidey4

Man...I was always craving a Sinister Six film. Even moreso than a Venom one.

I hope they set up Scorpio and Elektro for the fourth one then.

I dont see any other top tier villians for Spiderman to use after the 4th if they use Venom that quickly. Basically after Carnage, there is no other first rate villians that Spiderman can battle with so it should have been Sinister 6, then Venom then Carnage

4 Villians! Sound's like X-Men style overkill to me. the previous Spidey's all gave great screentime to there villains but with 4 this will need to be 3 hour's to pull off the same effect.

Dude I don't see how they could do the Sinister Six with Doc Ock Dead.

Sinister 6 was usually a mixture of villians in a group. In the comic books it was mainly Kraven, Green Goblin,Hydroman, Sandman, Vulture,Mysterio,Elektro, Vulture and Scorpio who was in the group. With Doc dead, they can easily fit some of the ones I mentioned into the group

I thought Doctor Octopus was the Leader of the Sinister Six or was that in the Cartoon.

There really is no leader but I remember its normally Kraven that leads the group since hes the tactician of the group

I have a sense that Spidey 3 is going to be very disappointing to some people.

I hard some ppl say that IMDB had the woman played Aunt May as also playing Carnage. I checked though and its no longer listed.

Hopefully Black Cat....although i feel she may be given a larger role in a future film.

The fourth villian has been revealed as Hubris.

I thought the fourth was Black Cat... Sandman's wife.

Being that Dunst, McGuire and Raimi all had lives before Spider-Man and their wavering committments to the films beyond the third, I would think that Spider-fans would want the third one to be the last. From the looks of things, they are throwing in everything, I would assume that this is the last of the current generation of Spider-flicks.

I hear Ratner is available for the fourth film however.

But hasnt a 4th film been mentioned by Raimi? At one stage it was supposed to shoot back to back with Spidey 3!?

Anyhow - hopeful it will be 3 hours long to do justice to all these villains.

The way I see it is best if Spidey battles Sandman, Green Goblin II and the 4th villian in Spidey 3 - with Venom being introduced in Spidey 3 but the big battle occurs in Spidey 4 - with maybe Black Cat as a side villian/distraction.

Who knows, it could be Kingpin, I just hope not Michael Clark Duncan, but the Lizzard I would say is the easiest choice. Its probably someone that Spidey kills as the symbiote.

Raimi may have said that he's not find of VENOM some time back, that's until FOX offered him an insane amount of $$$ and now he probably loves the character.. As for the 4th Villain?? I'd love to see either Scorpion or Electro, but here's an interesting dumb piece of uno I found at RT from sonmeone who found this at IMDB: Apparently, the character of CARNAGE is in the Credits.. Check it out and see if it's bogus or not..

It seems as if Venom won't be appearing in 3...It's just a vibe I've been getting too...
