 The Omen (1976)
The Omen Quote: The Omen is a 1976 American suspense horror film directed by Richard Donner. The film stars Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, David Warner, Harvey Stephens, Billie Whitelaw, Patrick Troughton, Martin Benson and Leo McKern. It is the first film in The Omen series and was scripted by David Seltzer, who also wrote the novel.
A remake, The Omen, was released on June 6, 2006. This date was chosen as a reference to the Number of the Beast (666). I think it's better than The Exorcist. The score is excellent. B+

Both The EXORCIST and THE OMEN Are even and both get grades of an "A".. The OMEN is a must see to further prove that this doesn't need a remake..

It's interesting, a bit creepy, and whatnot... but it isn't a flawless film. It's actually sort of sloppy, imo.

One of the creepiest movies your ever likely to see. The Decapitation scene alone is worth the price and the score is one of the most apt you'll ever hear.
A+

A bit slow during the first half, but picks up during the second half. The mother is pretty annoying, but Peck is good and the kid is pretty creepy, despite not being in the film a whole lot. The score is pretty good. Could have been better had the pace been tightened at the beginning.

C-. Horribly cheesy and boring. Yet for some reason I want to see the 2006 remake despite its supposed faithfulness to the original.
