The second is in my all-time Top 10.

Not a single franchise has ever got this far with me. I got several franchise films among my all-time faves, but it's never two, usually just one of the series.

In such a case, a B is CRUSHINGLY disappointing.

On its own, it is an entertaining film. Good summer fun, certainly enjoyable. You see, we've argued about this before, makeshift. I see summer blockbusters usually for pure fun and not something more. This delivers in the fun department, thus the good grade. It does not deliver otherwise as I have gotten used to with the series.

Like...I am sure that Michael has found the third season of Alias disappointing compared to the second, even though it was good on its own.

I'll tell ya what I'm talking about: I did give BATMAN BEGINS an "A" WHEN COMPARED TO THE LAST 2 MOVIE'S.. HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU?? When compared to Tim Burton's movie's?? It received a "C" and like it or not, there was ALOT of BB that was just flat out boring as fuc* whether you want to admit it or not and chances are, you won't if your a diehard BATMAN fan.. Tim Burton's BATMAN movie's didn't take themselves overly serious like what Nolan brought to the mix.. The Batmobile Prototype blew and to this day, no one can STILL give me an logical answer as to how the Prototype Batmobile could jump from roof top to roof top without falling through the roof weighing 2000 LBS that it did??? Nice one Nolan..

Well I will find out myself tomorrow night, I am still looking forward to it being an X-Man fan. Also there will be more movies I think calling the Last Stand was trying to get more people to come out. I think they will just start a new trilogy either through Fox or Marvel will fiance the movies themselves.

Well, judging by the reviews here, it looks like I am not the only one disappointed here.

I thought it was far better then the other two. IMO they are highly overrated, almost as much as Spider-Man and its sequel. This is the first PG-13 rated "popcorn" comic-book movie that I really liked (of the PG-13 movies I only liked BB more). It was a lot funnier and entertaining for me. I still liked Underworld: Evolution and V more, but this was a great action movie IMO.

The whole reason I was looking forward to this, unlike most here, was because Singer was replaced with Ratner. He might not be the best director, but I've never left the theater after one of this movies without being entertained. He didn't disappoint me.

I hate it when people say that SPIDERMAN and it's sequel are overrated.. Like it or not, that IS the Best Comicbook Franchise out and BB doesn't hold a candle to it.. The SPIDERMAN Movie's certainly didn't make the $$$ they did for no reason..

I don't doubt that it wasn't some fluke. Just my opinion.

I'm sure X-Men 3 is a good (unintentional) comedy movie, probably even better in that department than the already very laughable 2nd installment of this overall paltry series.
