Whoa, somebody tempered with House's brain? I'm hearing in the background as I speak, my brother is watching.

That's...strange.

It was certainly a different episode, that's for sure. People who complain that the show is too formulaic can't say anything now.

I actually really liked this episode. Best of the season, I'd say. It wasn't just another medical drama, it was a look into House's mind. I know some people don't like movies that have a twist at the end where "it's all a dream", but I felt it worked well for House. The writing was great and some of the scenes were so over-the-top that it could only be a hallucination. And I liked the fact that the guy who shot House was named Moriarty. Subtle reference to Sherlock Holmes, whom House is based off. ;)

And I don't think there's much of a cliff-hanger; they won't kill off House. But his leg might get better. We'll have to wait and see.

The formula is that the patient is always deceptive. Him hallucinating is just a bigger version of that same thing, we were fed b.s. by House, the patient, and it later turned out he was imagining it all. Same formula, different angle.

I don't think House can be considered a great show if only the finales are really any good. And this season that was the case. Last season it was, too. (Ok, not the finale, but the one before the finale.) I mean, there was a reason I liked this show to begin with, but it's too repetitive. And what happened to the spoiler I read that Cuddy was going to ask House to be the father of her child?

That happened last week... sort of. I thought they were leading up to something in the finale with it, but nothing came of it. I guess they're saving it for next season. They needed House to have his 'epiphany' last night to put his character in a position to accept it.

I was gone last week, so Im just now posting my reaction to the season finale.

55 minutes of utter pointlessness. (less if you don't include commercials, but I dont feel like doing more math.)
