I guess we should prepare a celebration if DVC ends in the low 70s.
But then maybe we should save the beer when DVC will start to fall like a rock next week.

Just a reminder: the film to have the highest opening weekend and fall short of $200 million is The Day After Tomorrow, which opened with $68 million opening weekend. The Da Vinci Code opened to $77 million.

And DAT opened to 68 million number on an inflated MMD weekend so it would be doubtful that DVC will make anything below 200 million

So it seems that DVC is going to have a huge very huge drop. Well I bump that thread to celebrate another step to our full glorious victory.

It will pass $150 million on Tuesday or Wednesday. Not quite a victory for you, folks, hehe.

Here a pic of Hanks Tatou and Mckellen in the brutal hot Box Office summer that is upon us. As you can see they will not last long time. And this weekend is the first indicator to proofe that for the uber cools.

I see a $189 million total gross for this film, using percent drops from Day After Tomorrow to simulate the rest of its run.
That would be a horrible 2.44 multiplier
