For the award of “Most Credible” our nominees - Dr. Lecter, Xiayun, Krem, dolcevita, Libs, and box_2005 - consist of a fake internet “doctor” who tries to give out free “exams”, a suspicious fellow whose name is completely unpronounceable and is either a location in China or a 1980’s film by Olivia Newton John, a closet Republican from Russia that is very shy about his opinions, a lady that takes her name from a film that IMDB describes as “chronicles of a decadent society where there is no more values except alcohol and sex…”, a school teacher who is known to her students only by her nickname “Hot Libs Hoolihan”, and lastly a college student who masquerades as a futuristic cardboard container.
Ok, so at first glance these nominees don’t appear to be Mother Theresa, but dig beneath their fake unpronounceable and sexy names, and you’ll find these nominees could at least give Michael Jackson a run for his money in terms of credibility.
All kidding aside, each of these nominees has outstanding character, and when they type something we listen. You may not always agree with their political ideologies or their box office predictions, but in each case they always present a clear thought out and logical argument without resorting to the tactics ferquently used by others, such as name calling and mud slinging.
Xiayun has earned his credibility in part with his tireless effort in tracking all things related to box office stats. Dolcevita's love for foriegn films and ability to articulate her opinions regarding all social issues have earned her high marks. Krem's passion for politics and wealth of knowledge of the same is a big reason he is in this category. box_2005's amazing box office tracking threads and perspectives on social issues show his credibility. Libs' tireless effort to bring us all things related to TV and box office stats go a long way to showing her credibility.
All 5 deserve the award, but unfortunately there can be only one winner. So, without further ado, the winner is....
