I think the actual number for Poseidon is closer to 400. It should be able to pull off a $20 million weekend, I think. Not much higher, but I don't see $15 million yet. It just needs around 850 reviews to make $7 million today and $20 million 3-Day.

So many people saw Poseidon that Yahoo can't even keep up!

Its a shame, just saw poseidon, and it really has everything to be a big film. It was so much better than Day After Tomorrow, and really not that bad considering most of the reviews. The budget is definitely there though, the boat scenes are magnificent. Considering the other crap that opens big, this should have opened over 60 million.

Nice hour, well at least compared to what it's been doing so far.

I do think Poseidon will come on strong as the night continues, it really is a very big teen flick as well as bringing nastalgia from older viewers. Im thinking it will pull 800-1100. If it gets to 850 were looking at a 10 million opening day.

It needs at least 1,000 for a $10 million day, methinks.

It looks like Poseidon is heading towards a Friday of $7.5-9 million

We don't have enough of them so far, not enough to tell. I am waiting for Scott's and others, but I have hard time believing that it won't crack $20 million for the weekend.

Looks pretty good for Poseidon to me. 308 reviews so far, 90 ratio = $3.42 million for Friday already. With night coming, I think it's friday will definately be good enough to secure a $20 million weekend (at least).

PEACE, Mike.

Just My Luck is looking okay. With a 275 ratio, it would need 825 reviews for a $3 million friday.

I have a feeling Goal! will have a huge ratio, for all of the reasons xiayun stated and such. I mean, films like this just scream "gigantic ratio". It could be way up there.

PEACE, Mike.

Can't use the last hour as the basis for projection since it's accumulation of a few hours' clogging. It is still pretty far from a pace toward 1000. And a ratio of 90 should be on the low end. A 120 as David suggested wouldn't be a surprise.

Well, The Day After Tomorrow got a 97 ratio, so I personally see under 100 for Poseidon, especially considering the circumstances on yahoo.

PEACE, Mike.

Now I put Poseidon on pace for 700-800. And regardless its final ratio, Goal's hourly increases don't feel like a tiny $1m opener.

Thats weak for Poesidon. It cost $160m just to make and it probably wont crack $30m in its first frame and will deteriorate quickly.

No way it reaches 800 now without frontpage help. Looks like 650 at most.

Well there are still about 5 hours of updates left, If it can hold close Im thinking an average of 75 per hour, so close to 800 is instore. that will be good for about a 8-10 opening day.

I expected around 600 for Poseidon by now. Either it's really clogged or it's really, really bad.

Looks like an 800 finish and around $6.6-8.0 million opening day.

Probably won't average 60 for the final four updates unless there is frontpage change. 750 or a little higher.
