What is the Hollywood formula for success nowadays? If a movie at least breaks even, then the studio sequelizes it. Heck, it doesn't need to even break even anymore. Movies like Catwoman 2 and Battlefield Earth 2 will be in theatres soon.
Franchises create fanboys and don't we all hate fanboys? They are stubborn, biased, peristant and annoying. And yet we all are here to award te biggest one of them.
At first we have Zingaling, a huge fanboy of the Baby Geniuses franchise. He saw both movies in theatres. Twice. Then he went out and bought all used diapers that were in these movies.
Then we have BKB, the greatest LOTR fan of all time. He collects everything he can find about LOTR and was the first in line to get the ROTK EE when it was released. He also has a cruch on Viggo Mortensen
Samweis Gamdschie - Well, he is a special sort of a fanboy. He is a fan of all musicals. Give him Singing in the Rain, Chicago, Moulin Rouge...he loves them all. His biggest dream is to star in a musical and be a dancing partner of Richard Gere.
Archangel is a huge fanboy of Pixar animation. Movies like Toy Story 2 and Finding Nemo almost never get out of his DVD player. He basically worships Pixar and admires the greatness of CGI animation.
Miruvor, much like Arch, is a great fan of CGI animation and his favorite movie of the year, Shark Tale, was seen by him 6 times in theatres this year already.
But there can be ONLY ONE as the Highlander franchise says (all four of its parts...) and he is... _________________ Best Actress 2008
