Come on, let's get some more ballots!

I really don't see myself doing a 90's Decade Film Awards, because people just aren't being involved. If I can't ballots for winner voting here, a 90's Decade Film Awards will barely even leave the ground. People here don't like doing these awards where there is some work involved. And I'm not blaming anyone, it's just not something that people are interested in. If I did this say at Oscarwatch, I would get a lot of ballots.

It's too bad, I enjoy doing these things! I'll finish this one up as promised. I'll set a date where the winners are revealed (probably late/mid May).

PEACE, Mike.

Mike, send out some PMs. I don't think it's that people aren't into these awards, it's just that in the last couple weeks this thread has kind've been forgotten about. I for one just clued in to that it's still around. There just has to be a new spark to everyone, I'm sure a lot have just forgotten.

I can actually help, if you tell me some people that haven't get them in yet.

The ceremony will be:

Sunday, May 20th, 2006 at 7:15 PM EDT.

I will announce the winners much like I did the nominees. 3rd place will be announced, then 2nd place, and then the winner per category. I will also release the actual voting counts, since they won't influence anything.

PEACE, Mike.

Plans just came up, so I will be gone and busy Sunday night (the 20th). Soooo.... I have to set it for another date, and the weekend is best for me because weekdays are sometimes iffy, so I will say the next Sunday after that (the 28th). Saturdays are not good nights, since that is the middle weekend night when people go out.

Ceremony: Sunday, May 28th, 2006 - 7:15 PM EDT

PEACE, Mike.

Many people may have plans for the long Memorial weekend (I will be out).

Ah Mike, just realized Canada has May 22nd off, but we have May 29th off, so I was suggesting to move to a different date again.

What? Ahhh crap. If I move it again, won't you guys kill me? I'll be delaying the ceremony a lot. Any thoughts?

Damn, I thought your guys Memorial Day was this monday (but now thinking about it, I don't know why I did). Yeah, we have Victoria Day this Monday, and you guys have Memorial Day NEXT Monday. Bleh.

PEACE, Mike.

If you could make it during the week, Thursday night tends to be the best time to host it, when people are here getting last minute information before making predictions. So maybe 25th?

Hmm, that is true. And I would have to make sure myself can get on, because I would also be making predictions.

Alrighty, the 25th it is. Thanks xiayun for your help!

PEACE, Mike.

I got some unexpected calls into work this week, including tomorrow, so there is no way I can do this again. I have moved the show until thursday, April 1st, and this should be the last move.

I apologize once again. My life right now is actually kinda busy again working two jobs.

PEACE, Mike.

Gosh, guys, I'm sorry. This will be the absolute final change, because I do have the ballots counted up now and the winners determined. I have been called in for work tonight, so I cannot physically be at a computer to run a show. So I am going to switch this to the sunday like I always wanted to do, knowing I won't be busy on a sunday since it is the one day I have off from work.

Sunday, June 4, 2006, 7:15 PM EDT

Please proceed to kill me again. Actually, nobody here even cares about this thing except maybe Cotton who actually replied into this thread once. lol.

PEACE, Mike.
