It seems like everyone here didn't like the Vogler storyline. I didn't either. The only time I thought Chase was okay was when they focused on his relationship with his father. Cameron to me is very sensitive and gets too idealistic at times. Same with Foreman, although he has more reason to be angry than either of them.
So I guess I only like the older doctors (House, Cuddy, and Wilson).

I don't really care for Cuddy as she tends to be too by-the-book such as in last night's episode. I do, however, like Wilson and House, of course for his sense of humor cause everyone knows he's not exactly the nicest person. I used to like Cameron and Foreman more but they've grown increasingly unlikeable as the series has progressed. Chase has never been likeable.

Chase is too bland, Foreman is alright, Cameron is a little too uptight for her own good.
I really enjoy the interplay between House and Cuddy.

Good episode again. I especially liked House's sarcasm although I hope he doesn't rag on Foreman for too long as it could get old.

They should stop saying "With an ending you wont believe!!" Guess what, if the ending isnt believable (I can suspend my disbelief for only so long) the episode is shit.

I can suspend my disbelief for as long as it takes for someone to break into song and dance. THAT I wont ever believe.

So Cuddy is after Wilson, that was cute, I hope they continue with that. But House seemed jealous didn't he?

Cuddy to House: "No matter what you tell people, I am, and have always been... a woman."

The episode was a little bland, but House is never that. No matter how dull the storyline might get, the dialogue is always sharp and witty. Props to the writers for keeping House so unique after two full seasons, and not watering him down.
I found Foreman more annoying tonight with his whole "I've been given a second chance" bit. I always liked him the most because he was the only one who would argue with House. I suppose now he's gonna go back to normal, but he was irritating in this episode.
And I guess they're building up to something with Chase, but I can't imagine what...

Yeah, a calm Foreman is rather creepy/unexciting.

Good episode tonight, I thought. The patient was altogether uninteresting (I would've thought they'd have done more with the Katrina aspect), but the look into House's past (albeit a brief one) and the build-up to some sort of House/Cuddy thing was interesting. And House himself is always entertaining. When he brought in the sperm donor for an interview, it was hilarious.
Finale should be good.

Great episode thought as Trixter said, the patient was a bit boring.

Good episode only because of the personal stuff. Like the others said though, the patient was dull and the result predictable.

About the girl and who her real father is. Did anyone else get the sense it might be House? It's not his friend who is the father, and House also had an affair with the girl's mother.
So what was up with Cuddy coming in near the end? She was going to ask him to donate the sperm and she chickened out?

It wasn't the girl's mother who House had an affair with, it was his friend's girlfriend from when they were teens.
And, yeah, I think that Cuddy was asking House to be the father of her kid. You could tell they were building something up there. Maybe it'll be resolved in the finale.

Ahh thanks for clearing that up. You know if she asks him to donate he'll say okay but only if he can donate it the old fashioned way and she provides lots of foreplay. Just seems like him.
It wasn't a very interesting medical case this time, unfortunately.

Wait, what?
So the entire episode was House's hallucination? Ouch.
This episode was extremely gory, I swear I almost threw up between the guy's eyeball literally exploding out of his head or the same guy getting fake sliced right down his body.

I didn't really like this episode, it made me miss the Volger episodes by comparison.
In the end the episode was meaningles, I expected some sort of change on the Cuddy/House/Wilson front or other non-medical drama. I guess we're supposed to be worried over the summer that House might not survive but him getting hurt is such a cliche.

It was certainly a different episode, that's for sure. People who complain that the show is too formulaic can't say anything now.
I actually really liked this episode. Best of the season, I'd say. It wasn't just another medical drama, it was a look into House's mind. I know some people don't like movies that have a twist at the end where "it's all a dream", but I felt it worked well for House. The writing was great and some of the scenes were so over-the-top that it could only be a hallucination. And I liked the fact that the guy who shot House was named Moriarty. Subtle reference to Sherlock Holmes, whom House is based off.
And I don't think there's much of a cliff-hanger; they won't kill off House. But his leg might get better. We'll have to wait and see.

I didn't find it meaningless at all. I thought we got some great character development for House. I'm too tired to go into detail, and others have said it much better in the many, many, many posts about the episode over on the house_md Livejournal community. But I'm agreeing with those who say that Moriarity (the shooter) was essentially a personification of House inside his own mind. Basically, House was talking to himself, and in doing so, working out some of his issues.
GREAT cliffhanger. Can't wait 'til next season!!!
Grade: A (would be A+ if it weren't for that kinda cheap deal with undressing Cam with the robot..... *shudders*)

Episodes like this one are very annoying because they're essentially pointless. They certainly could have thought of something better as a season finale. I really didn't need to know that House is a pervert (That Cameron thing).
