I always thought it would be kick-awesome if a new plane crashes right when the lostaways are all killed or become others through brainwashing or some other motive. Then you have brand new characters who have no idea what's going on, and our old favorites who are "evil". If executed properly, it would be an insane twist and awesome new direction; it'd be like watching season 1 from the others' POV. But, there are too many subplots they need to wrap up, and Abrams/Lindelof don't have the balls to drastically change the show like that.

Hurley also killed some people in that "Accident" on the deck or something (why he ended up in the looney bin).

Season Finale Overview: (may or may not have already been posted)

[spoil]"Live Together, Die Alone” – After discovering something odd just offshore, Jack and Sayid come up with a plan to confront “The Others” and hopefully get Walt back. Meanwhile, Eko and Locke come to blows as Locke makes a potentially cataclysmic decision regarding the “button” and the hatch, on the season finale of “Lost,” WEDNESDAY, MAY 24 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

“Lost” stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Mr. Eko, Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Emilie de Ravin as Claire, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Daniel Dae Kim as Jin, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Dominic Monaghan as Charlie, Terry O’Quinn as Locke, Harold Perrineau as Michael, Michelle Rodriguez as Ana Lucia and Cynthia Watros as Libby.

Guest starring are Malcolm David Kelley as Walt, Henry Ian Cusick as Desmond, Sam Anderson as Bernard, M.C. Gainey as Mr. Friendly, Michael Emerson as Henry Gale, Clancy Brown as Kelvin Inman, Tania Raymonde as Alex, April Grace as Ms. Klugh, Alan Dale as Charles Widmore, Stephen Page as Master Sergeant, Michael Bowen as Pickett, Sonya Walger as Penelope, Len Cordova as man no. 1, Alex Petrovitch as man no. 2, Eyal Podell as young man and Cathy Foy as receptionist.

This means Desmond's back obviously, and Sayid's having a flashblack (Clancy Brown). Perhaps the receptionist is from Locke's flashback before departing work. And Henry Gale's still alive!! [/spoil]

Did anyone else notice a certain character guest starring from the spoiler text above?

Possibly a mild spoiler...

[spoil]Guest starring are... Tania Raymonde as Alex...[/spoil]

[spoil]In the cast for the finale is someone playing Charles Widmore. Widmore Labs made (I think) the pregnancy test that Sun used (Sawyer or Kate gave it to her, I can't remember which).

Also check out this: http://www.widmoregroup.com On the privacy page they say not affiliated with abc but I don't believe it.[/spoil]

[spoil]I agree. Way too many lost references on the widmore site for it to be a coincidence. Lots of numbers on the site, not to mention Anthony Cooper on the board of directors.[/spoil]

[spoil]Desmond's hatch partner was named Kelvin. Someone is cast as him in the finale, as you can see from the cast list above. And it's someone who was on a previous episode this season.[/spoil]

[spoil]It's not Sayid's flashback, it's Desmond's. Clancy Brown is playing Kelvin Inman. Kelvin is the guy who was there before Desmond. This is quite interesting. And Widmore does mean something, yes. And both Ana Lucia and Libby are still there, for some reason.[/spoil]

I listened to JJ Abrams on The Howard Stern Show, and he seemed like a genuinely nice guy. And, when Howard said that he created "Lost", JJ was very quick to not only point out he was only co-creator, but that Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse are running the show this season.

I think that's cool. If he had any sort of ego, he would have taken all the credit he could get. So. Yeah. A little off-topic from the usual spoilers being posted today.

[spoil]Ooooh!! I thought his part in Sayid's episode was a little too focused on him. He seemed to be saying something important (I don't remember that flashback very well) and not just acting as a forgettable character. It is the same guy, right??[/spoil]

After week's last surpisingly stellar episode (the conversation between Ana-Lucia/NotHenry and NotHenry/Locke, the Hurley/Libby stuff, the return of Michael, the SHOCKING ending, and, hell, even Ana's flashback with Christian Shepard), I'm REALLY looking forward to tonight's episode in 30 minutes. It looks AWESOME! Plus, it's an Ecko-centric episode (my favorite character).

"Do not mistake coincidence for fate." :shades:

Canadians were already better than everyone else. What other race would accept Mr. X? Or Box? Or even bABA?

Meanwhile, I still have to wait five minutes...

they could create an entire show today by showing ana lucia die again and again and the audience would be happy.
