 A huge WTF
http://www.worldofkj.com/forum/viewtopi ... 859#625859
That's my fourth or fifth time trying to post that. First post came up like it, I thought it was just a posting glitch, so I went back and re-edited it. Assuming it was fixed, I didn't check the thread agin until the next morning. Still borked. Then I tried posting it again. It came up again, leaving me befuddled and confused. I deleted it. Then again I tried this afternoon, and the result is the post to which I linked. I've never seen such a randomly specific posting glitch/error. Maybe my original post is somehow tagged with a "fuck 'im over" code, which is somehow carried over when I copy the borked post. Let the conspiracy theories come out.

I think I know what is wrong but please watch your language. Thanks.

What kind of error's is it creating? -It should look a lot like this, albeit slightly different. -Is the error only showing up for me? Quote: Superman 5 - > 350 4 - 280-350 3 - 235-280 2 - 195-235 1 - <195
Projected 3800 TC. I wouldn't be surprised if it increased. However, I'm just not feeling it. The people to whom I've talked outside of the internet haven't shown much enthusiasm. It's more of a "Oh, yeah that'd be nice to see". Not much of a blockbuster vibe. It seems many of ym friends were not fans of the second movie. But I've read a few reports here about people building up lots of hype, and early screenings (AICN) have said it was a very good film. I'll probably end up eating crow on this one more than any of the others...even POTC. Hm.
POTC2 5 - >420 4 - 365-420 3 - 305-365 2 - 250-305 1 - <250>340 4 - 280-340 3 - 220-280 2 - 160-220 1 - <160>300 4 - 250-300 3 - 200-250 2 - 150-200 1 - <150>270 4 - 240-270 3 - 200-240 2 - 140-200 1 - <140>230 4 - 205-230 3 - 160-205 2 - 120-160 1 - <120
I'm totally not feeling it for this one either. Regardless, Dreamworks seems to have this CG movie release scheme down.
X3 5 - >300 4 - 260-300 3 - 215-260 2 - 150-215 1 - <150
It's essentially cutting out the heading to each one of the lists and the little comments with which I tagged them. The POTC2 list has about three other movies "attached to it". I mean, it's not even cutting out a solid block of text. It's just seemingly random lines.
- The errors it's creating is nothing outside of structural and aesthetic errors. It's really actually nothing important. I'm just very confused at how this could have come around. I've never seen anything this confusing.

Anything less than the first movie is unacceptable. Period. I'd consider anything elss than the second movie to be at least a mild disappointment. I'm expecting an increase along the lines of Austin Powers 2 and 3...230ish final.

I swear to God I'm going to kill myself.
Am I going crazy? Am I the only one that can see this? Where are those voices coming from?

I emailed it and put it in my test blog as well....just in case the internet officially hates me (as I suspect).

Is it supposed to look like this:
POTC2
5 - >420
4 - 365-420
3 - 305-365
2 - 250-305
1 - <250>340
4 - 280-340
3 - 220-280
2 - 160-220
1 - <160>300
4 - 250-300
3 - 200-250
2 - 150-200
1 - <150>270
4 - 240-270
3 - 200-240
2 - 140-200
1 - <140>230
4 - 205-230
3 - 160-205
2 - 120-160
1 - <120
Cause that doesn't make sense...

Exactly. It's not supposed to look like that at all. Look at all of the other posts in the thread in question. That's what it's supposed ot look like (generally speaking, of course).

Superman

4 - 270-350
3 - 210-270
2 - 150 - 210
1 - <150
It's Supes. It can't disappoint THAT much. It can at least match the first XMen and Fantastic 4. It seriously cannot be that degrading to the name Superman, especially with the monster opening it will have. WOM will make or break it, since it has about ten days to make money before POTC2 comes and kills out. If WOM is stellar, it could reah the upper limits (300ish). If WOM is even just average, it'll get burried and end at Batman Begins.
POTC2
5 - >420
4 - 365-420
3 - 305-365
2 - 25-305
1 - <250
Yes, I am a member of the POTC2 500+ club. That doesn't mean that a run of 350 would be disappointing. I mean, I'd be a little disappointed, but it's a respectable run. I just happen to think that things will work in favor for the movie, on all accounts.
Cars
5 - >340
4 - 280-340
3 - 220-280
2 - 160-220
1 - <160
I set the limitations on either side at Pixar's highest and lowest (Bugs and Nemo). I think the material will be slightly more difficult to market than their latest fare, which, combined with Over the Hedge, I think will stop it from reaching it's true potential. Regardless, I final tally at 240 is respectable.
Da Vinci Code
5 - >300
4 - 260-300
3 - 215-260
2 - 150-215
1 - <150
Easily the hardets to predict of the summer. I cna honestly say nothign will surprise me, whether a $90 million final or a $90 million opening.
MI3
5 - >270
4 - 240-270
3 - 200-240
2 - 140-200

Over the Hedge

4 - 205-230
3 - 160-205
2 - 120-160
1 - <120
I'm not really feeling it, to be honest. I don't sense any buzz at all. Regardless, Dreamworks has this animation release pattern down pat, and I've actually heard good things pre-release (which contradicts everything else Dreamworks has done sans Shrek). Madagascar total seems good.
X3
5 - >300
4 - 250-300
3 - 215-250
2 - 150-215
1 - <150
