Businesses get more illegals, pass the cost of illegals to the taxpayers, the new illegals' number reach millions, they will demand amnesty And the cycle goes on....

I fail to see what's wrong in the cycle that you just presented, other than the fact that someone keeps having the "illegal" status. If you think that the problem is that "illegals" are mooching off of taxpayers, then the solution is not to kick those people out; it's to keep a watch over what taxpayers' money is spent on.

Businesses move around even more than people right now. When where they really tied to post-nationalism ethnic-states?
People are complaining about factory jobs when the factory jobs crosses the border long ago.

Exactamundo!

Intel had a program 3 years ago where they used prison labor to recycle their computers for a profit, they paid the prison workers $1.50 an hour. Thats not too much different than illegals, the only difference is intel is a corporate business and not small businesses. Im not justifying below min wage work pay but businesses can easily ship jobs to third world country. Its just the big businesses that can afford it

WOW

I'm watching the local Fox news right now. The marchers seems pretty organized so far, they pretty much covered the entire Wilshire Blvd. (which was closed down).

The difference is that it is against the law to hire illegals.

Obviously businesses and their supporters don't mind some law-breaking. Since a lot of people use the excuse that it is hard to become an immigrant legally, it is ok to break the law to get a job in the US. Then these businesses should have no problem if poor people steal from them. After all it is not very easy to get rich legally. Let the poor people just steal from these businesses and ask for amnesty. At least they are willing work hard and steal to better themselves.

It's also against the law to grow and smoke pot, hire a hooker, and, until recently, it was against the law to have sex in the ass in the state of Texas.

Just because something is against the law doesn't mean that it should stay that way.

There is a huge difference between a victimless crime (such as hiring an illegal alien) and crime with a victim (such as theft). To equate the two is to engage in moral relativism, like I mentioned earlier to KidRock

It is still a crime to commit any/all the above mentioned crimes. These above mentioned law-breakers are not marching and asking for amnesty that I am aware of.

Victimless crime... That is the biggest joke I have heard in a while. Illegal aliens take away resources from legal residents of the US and allow the sleazy businesses to duck their responsibilities. Both the illegal and the sleazy businessman are stealing from the citizens/legal residents of this country.

Is that supposed to prove something? Would you be perfectly OK with a law that required black people in the South to give up their bus seats to the White people?

Exactly what are they stealing? Like I said before, if you feel that the illegal immigrants are using up your taxpayer dollars, then the solution lies with watching those dollars get spent on, not with kicking millions of people who want to have gainful employment out.

Damnit! Landlords are going to have to give their tenants heat and get rid of roaches and mice if they can't threaten deportation on tenants anymore. Damn straight those Mexicans are taking away our number one resource: property value even in condemned housing. How are we supposed to make our money now?

There are millions of potential LEGAL immigrants in the pipeline who will do the same job without breaking the law. If the law has to be changed, it should be to accomodate people who have paid their dues by waiting and respecting this country's sovereignty and laws. It is ridiculous to change the laws to accomadate law breakers and greedy businesses.

What are these illegals stealing?

Free Health care
Government assistance i.e food stamps, medicaid
Free schooling
Money out of legal residents' pockets by increased auto and health insurance costs

Also, it is interesting to note, how illegal is being taken out of illegal immigrant. They should have called it as what it was.

A DAY WITHOUT AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT.

back in 1988, if you were able to fulfil every single green card formality, it took 10 years to get your green card after submiting your application. There are of course, ways around it if you get married to someone and shit like that but yes, techncailly, immigrating to the states takes time.

Also... a few U.S. Embassy workers (moreso in Third World Countries) tend to be amoral.

well, let immigrants wait and legally come into this country. i feel for them, but they burden our economy. illegal immigrants take away so many jobs from american citizens and even legal immigrants, and they drive up tax rates. i have nothing wrong with people coming here legally, but we have to spend so much money on people who are not here legally, and the majority of them don't even bother to learn the english language. if they want to be americans so badly, at least learn the damn language.

illegal immigrants take up the jobs Americans think they are above, Termi.

Immigrants are given jobs at the VERY bottom of social desirability and pay.

regardless, they cost americans a lot of money, and should have to come in legally. i realize that most of these immigrants are hard working, and just want to work to provide for their families and that's great, but i believe they should be here legally like everyone else....that's all.

come on, English is the primary language of 81.2% of the population in the United States, and 97.5% speak English. Why should that 81.2% have to learn another language to cater to the 1 or 2% of illegal immigrants that don't speak any English instead of them learning to speak English? If i moved to a country where i didn't speak the official language, or the language spoken by the vast majority of citizens and wanted them to learn english, they'd laugh at me.

Well you tell your government that.
Because right now the only people getting into America legally dont need to be working in those jobs.

I was an illegal immigrant for all of 2 years :) Parents didnt like their job in Toronto, but they liked a crap job better than no job in Portugal... Thankfully, my parents learned some of the english language and had some knowledge of french and we applied legally (after returning to portugal) and got accepted legally.

What's kind of odd about Canada and (i'm sure the states as well) is that While i was illegal I was able to attend School with my real name and stuff, and other illegals here can go to a special illegal immigrant hospital that provides free health care for them.. so it's kind of weird how govts reject yet allow so much.

Well at least the illegals in US can organize a protest.. here in toronto they're beginning to deport like 20K illegal portuguese ppl and the 300K strong portuguese community only managed to get 1000 ppl to go protest, half of them were spanish to boot..

So in conclusion...long live the immigrant both legal and illegal :)

it's not that i don't want them to work here, i just want them to do it legally so it's less of a drain on taxpayers. i think a lot of companies jump on illegal labor because they don't have to pay them minimum wage, and can screw them over by paying them next to nothing because they know they can't get any better work. they go looking for illegal labor to save money instead of hiring legal citizens/immigrants, and that's how jobs get taken away. i'm totally for letting immigrants have passes, documents, etc that allow them to work legally while they apply for citizenship. that way they'd get paid more and would probably get some better work. believe me, i have nothing wrong with immigrants working here, because they do a lot for this country, but it's when they're here illegaly that hurts the economy.
