I'm in, just 'cause it'll be funny to laugh at all the crazy Superman fans here (revolutions, I'm looking at you) when it disappoints - and you know it will.

Yeah, I'll join. I see this making $180-190 million or so.

No it's different, I'm talking international as well. And BB didn't do that great either, and I hope SR drops like a piece of dog shit in drinking water.

Mmmmmmmm I dont know. I mean SR wont have BB's legs but it might have alot more kids under 12 wanting to see it.
Also, just like F4 this movie seems to be getting plastered everyhwhere. Alot of tie-in marketing with basically every single big company out there. BB had fairly mediocre marketing overall, WB kinda screwed up in that department, they did a better job at the pre-marketing like with the teaser and such, getting hype that way but im sure SR will have better marketing around a month before it comes out, atleast thats what im thinking.

I think it'll just beat Batman Begins overall.

This is what Moriaty said on AICN:
Y’know, I probably shouldn’t have read the SUPERMAN RETURNS script. I want to be positive about the film. I want to be enthusiastic about it, but I’m just not. I’m actually a little bummed out about it now, and that’s never any fun.

Unless the trailer is completely different from the one shown at ShoWest, I'm definitely in.

I can't say having not seen it, but from the description it doesn't sound like something that'd be able to get a 70 million OW.

I merged the 'Superman less than Batman Begins' club with the 'Under $200 million' Club. We don't need a seperate thread for just a $5 million difference.
