I don't think Jack will die because they've really been building up the Jack/Locke clash, so it would be pointless to kill him off. Unless they're planning on developing Eko as a foil to Locke, but there's been no indication of that.
I think (more like hope) that Charlie will die. His flashbacks have nothing more to reveal, and all he's done on the island is try to kidnap Claire's baby and then sat around sulking. I think it might come out that Charlie helped Sawyer in his plot to get all the guns, Charlie will be shunned (even more), and then he'll die doing something heroic. Or Locke will kill him. Either or.
Or it could be Michael. After he tells them his story of the Others, he'll really serve no purpose, other than to run around yelling "WAAAAAALLLLLTTTT!" I think he's likely to die also.

The reactions to it are hilarious. "I can't cool down. I'm somewhere in between wanting to throw up, crying, and wanting to literally beat the crap out of someone."
By the way this is a possible major spoiler if it's true, so if this show is your favorite, it's probably best not to click.[/spoil]

I don't believe it. That would be the dumbest reason ever to kill off a cast member.

[spoil]I took it as they were simply using that as an excuse, when really they were doing it for creative reasons. If it's true at all which it might not be of course.[/spoil]

From Spoilerfix:
[spoil]A few actors will no longer be contracted as series regulars [next season] -- but that doesn't mean we won't see them again.
Could apply to the ones referred to in Archie's link.[/spoil]

me too.
I don't know how much longer I'll resist it.
for those who have clicked on it... if it happens to be true is it something that will be revealed or done in upcoming episodes or like something for the finale?

Don't worry guys, if you don't click on it. You're not missing all that much and there's no way to verify the truth of that link anyway, it's one fan saying they know things, and others (over)reacting.

Anyone gonna watch the recap tomorrow night? I'm actually considering it. But, I've seen snippets of past recap shows, and ALWAYS lost interest. I need the whole episode or nothing at all.

For a second (before my brain started working) I thought you meant that room in the hatch they keep Henry in
She actually looks half-decent in that pic methinks!

This week's episode, "Two for the Road", is written by Christina M. Kim and Elizabeth Sarnoff. The duo has written "The Whole Truth" and "The Hunting Party". A sketchy history. Sarnoff herself wrote "Abandoned" (aka the episode where Shannon got shot).
On May 10th, "?" will air. It's written by Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. Well, we pretty much know to expect a good episode. Their track record is fairly solid. I'm impressed that they have so much to do with the show. Out of 21 episodes, 6 were written by these two, and one other (the premiere) was written by Lindelof himself.

That clip show sucked. Last year's was a whole lot better because they showed some of the more interesting scenes. Monster didn't even appear in this clip show. Guess that means it won't appear for the rest of the season, as they most likely show stuff that would relate to upcoming episodes.

You guys should check this out!
Scroll down to where it says "About the Author"
This is pretty weird
My job at UCLA is to dock recieve book shipments and enter them into the computer and alot of times take them out and tag them with our rpices. So I see ALOT of books. One caught my attention today. It had this little LOST emblem embedded on the cover. I saw that at the bottom it said that the author disappeared in Sept. 2004 while on the Oceanic 815 flight. And I started getting a little weirded out.
I searched for the book on Amazon and the link above is what I found.
It's a completely legit book and I know it's not something crazy and that's it's just corss promotional stuff but what I don't get is just that.... it's a freakin legit book. Who's the real author?

You can learn more by googling it. Apparently it's a book by an author using that pseudonym, a Lost tie-in. The plot makes it sound like Locke and Sawyer are brothers to me, or can that plot describe someone else? Gary Troup is an anagram of purgatory.
Also http://www.thelostwiki.com/index.php?title=Gary_Troup
Seems creepy to me but just marketing I guess. It's hard for me to imagine many people buying these various tie-in books.

Looks like Eko's gonna have a major role in the final few episodes. Him and Locke coming to blows? Awesome.
I have a feeling the Michael flashback in 2.22 is going to be of when he was gone looking for the Others, cause if it's another pre-island one, it'll be boring.
And what could the horrific situation in the hatch be?

I have an idea and I'm hoping it's not what I think it is because I'd be thoroughly disappointed.

I don't know but they did show a violent confrontation in the hatch in the coming attractions to the next episode.
