I don't think Casino Royale is a lock for $100 million, but it *definately* has a shot. The Da Vinci Code will likely have a $60 million opening at least, it is a lock, people should think in the $200 millions for this movie.
Open Season with a 75% chance? No way.

Casino Royale is a lock considering not much competition and the fact that James Bon is an estabilished franchise now, even without Brosnan.

I dunno. It could easily only make $90 million or so. It will be close.
It really *has* to be good though, which I think they can pull off with the talent they hired.

I think it's the right time to bump this one.
We finally have a film that'll make $100 million this year. It should make it on Friday. Inside Man might still make it if the drops get better, or it might stop at around $95 million total.

Happy Feet is a lock to cross $100 million. It'll probably take less than two weeks for it to do so. Otherwise, I agree with the rest.

Honestly, I don't see the appeal for this. 90 minutes of penguins dancing? Is that all this "film" is about? I really can't see why this has gotten so much buzz.

because the ads are HYSTERICAL.
people LOVE the trailers in a way which hasn't been seen for a while.
I think Happy Feet is actually a lock for $200m.

Better legs? Nah. But it should open bigger. Saw II had incredibly good WoM and legs for this type of the movie and Saw's fanbase is just growing. I fully expect it to open with over $35 million.

The crowd reactions to the trailer of Happy Feet are excellent. Keep in mind that it was attached to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, so everyone saw it. People were cracking up when I saw it.
I do think it's a lock to make $100 million total.

Yeah, I know, I saw it. But my response was slightly less enthusiastic. I was just like, "what?" And no one in my theatre was cracking up. A few laughs, but nowhere near the response you're talking about. Maybe it's just a Canadian thing, but I don't see where all this buzz and "hilarious" trailers are coming from.

Actually, if Saw III sticks with the October 27th release date, its chances will be very good to make $100 million (and become the first horror film since The Grudge to do so). I expect it to open with no less than $35 million.

The 'Dollar' in the title is totally unnecessry, since you already have the $ sign.
