I'm not so sure. Constantine had a 141 even though it was on the frontpage. V is hitting the exact same demo. I can't remember if Constantine had an image like V on the main or just a text link but still. 200-250 might be too high for it.

Sin City had about 596 at this time on its opening day. V For Vendetta's currently riding at 505.

V for Vendetta is doing fine so far. It has frontpage, and I don't think Sin City did, so I think we'll see it well ahead of 2000 reviews by the end of the night, and around $11-13 million opening day (considering that the 10pm showings are counted).

I think V will have a higher weekend internal mult than Sin City because movies that open on St. Patrick's Day (like today) tend to open a bit lower because a lot of people go out on the holiday and then they go to the movies over the weekend. Final Destination (opened 3/17/00) had a 3.2 internal mult from Friday, which is unheard of for a horror film.

It might be a little less frontloaded than Sin City, but it'll still drop on Saturday. The 10pm showings will make Friday bigger than normal, and that pretty much evens out with the St. Patrick's Day holiday.
