I agree that Tony had been through so much only to get killed. I started watching this season, but got all the episodes on DVD and came to like Tony alot.

Nice interview with 'Edgar'.

I liked Edgar, but I cannot imaging he's anywhere near in popularity as Lombardi thinks.

Wow, what a mook.

I agree with the producers that a character as loved as Edgar should be given the boot. It's nothing personal, it just helps keep viewers on their toes. If there's one thing I love about 24 (having only started watching it this season) it's that every episode keeps adding more and more impossible obstacles, and that no character is safe. The offing of characters like Edgar really gives you the feeling that these fuckers'll do anything, and that's more compelling to me than watching a lovable character like Edgar have "bright spots", "get the girl" or "save his mother".

Anyone up for a bet that Jack shoots Audrey in the knee?

@Krem lol.

The most likely scenario is that someone was impersonating Audrey with fake identification or whatever.

Stoller, or at least the actor playing him, was cooler than Jack. He looked familiar, have we seen him in some other movie or show?

Also, about Chloe, I'd like to start a petition to get her a second expression. Not that her all-purpose head-down, scrunched forehead, scowl isn't effective but I'm sure she's capable of stretching into a two expression actress.

Th German guy right? He was from 'Lost'. I knew right away.

I don't think I can watch Jack do that to Audrey. Poor Audrey. What a shitty life.

Her and Her dad get kidnapped and almost die.
Jack tortures her husband or ex husband (whatever)
Jack lets her ex die.
She thought Jack, the man she loved was dead.
He comes back and tortures her.

SUCK

Theo Stoller is the "hatch guy" Desmond from Lost. (Henry Ian Cusick).

I think it would be cooler if someone else is framing Audrey... say Diane (the lady from the desert that Jack shacked up with)... I mean, she could be the one who told some higher ups that Jack is still alive.

Though Audrey getting involved in this sets up for Sec. Heller's return.

I don't think that anybody is impersonating Audrey. I think she's guiltier than OJ. That Collette girl is not dumb. She must know who AUdrey Raines is, considering that she's the daughter of the secretary of defense.

By the way, I'm in the middle of watching season 2 now.

[spoil]So far, there has only been ONE character on 24 that had a personality: George Mason. Too bad he inhaled that plutonium :([/spoil]

He played Desmond on Lost.

Good episode. I agree that Audrey was probably being impersonated by someone. I've heard that William Devane (who plays Heller, the Secretary of Defense and Audrey's father) is coming back for some episodes soon. It's possible that he's the guilty one, working with the 'patriots' Henderson and the VP (and Cummings, for that matter).

Looks like the info that Palmer found out implicates the VP, that's why he crashed Wayne's car - it seemed pretty obvious that it was him.

Collette looks like the older, healthier (not to mention better-looking and better-acting) version of Mischa Barton.

Good episode, I can't wait for next week, shocked at Audrey, that makes more sense now that I think about it, she knew Jack was alive, she was the one on the inside, Cummings did say someone was also on the inside, of course many people would look to the VP, but someone in CTU is very possible, but that would be a mind blower, I liked her.

"Ms. Hayes that is not a threat, that's a FACT!"

HAHA she's a bitch. I guess she hasn't learned that any higher up trying to takeover CTU gets pwned by Jack.

Anyone notice that the score for this season has been fun and memorable? The music used while Collette was being cornered and Theo driving away has a rock-ish, spy thriller movie feel to it.

I still THINK the best character to use as a double agent is Martha's assistant Evelyn. That is, if they still want to bring up the Chinese storyline.

Thegun, from what we've seen in 24 (s.4 and 5) she didn't know Jack is alive. Only David Palmer, Tony, Michelle and Chloe. Not even Mike.

Not sure about this Audrey situation, but for spilling the beans about Jack being alive, I agree with Christian. Diane could be the one guilty of that. Maybe she saw him in the past when he was working with Heller. He migth've been caught up on news and such. And then she recognized him...dunno.

Sound more plausible than to think any of those first mentioned ratted him out...or not. Now thinking, maybe someone wired the house of Tony and Michelle before, and one would think they would've mentioned Jack now and then. Maybe that's how they found out.

another solid episode. I also noticed the funky rock score they used during the takedown scene. Nice touch.

I'm hard pressed to think of another drama flying this high during its 5th season. Anyone?

Not I. But, Michael would probably argue with you. Something to the effect of "24 is good and all, but Alias is still far better, and this is its best season yet!".

Too bad the Emmys will probably continue to snub the show in any major categories. Nominations outside of Drama and Kiefer would be great. A few major wins would be too damn hot for me to handle.

Emmy love would be nice. But since Buffy was ignored, not to mention what happened a few weeks back at the Kodak theatre, award love is nice and all, but ultimately means nothing to me.

I think if 24 got some Emmy lovin', you'd forget all about the Crash win.

I think Nina ratted Jack out. It's about time for her to comeback from the dead.

So who is that woman that Henderson was talking on the phone with right before he tries to blow up Jack? Certainly not Collette (as Bierko just met her last episode). I'm pretty sure it's not Audrey either.

Why are you all so sure that it's not Audrey? She seems like the perfect mole to me. Let's face it, Jack doesn't have the best judgement in women ;)

I'm not sold on her yet, but if she is, damn, she's crafty.

Though I'm hugly anticipating next week's Jack Bauer Interrogation Death Choke on her.

Did Audrey do it or did Audrey not do it. Hmm.

I was just starting to like Audrey too, either the character has been developed from a bland sidekick into a generally strong heroine, or Kim Raver is just a good actress.

OK, Edgar's replacement is even weirder than Chloe.
