1. Henderson escaped
2. Henderson and wife mentioned they kept watch on Kim.
3. Kim and boyfriend leaving CTU.

Hmm... maybe Henderson will use her or something?

The Homeland Security lady was supposed to be played by Laurie Metcalf, who wasn't bitchy enough for the role.

Though her male assistant is supposed to be the bigger, conniving "bitch." lol

Guess they missed out on her "wonderful" performance as one of the killers in Scream 2.

The only time I've ever liked Metcalf was on Roseanne.

Well, that was surprising.

Until the moment Tony had second thoughts. Just knew Henderson would open his eyes.

Anyway, this episode cemented my intention on downloading all 4 previous seasons as well. When bloody WoKJ couldn't fix the contest so I could win. So rude.

Don't you guys think that Henderson was rather too conscious when he stabbed Tony? I know he's ex-CTU and all but still...

Kind of makes me suspicious of the agent that was sedating him...

I've spent the last week getting caught up on this season so far, all the way from episode 1-13. I'll be honest, I've never been all that interested in 24 before, but Christ, it's bloody awesome! Definitely one of the best TV shows on the air right now. If not THE best TV show.

The suspense in the last couple of episodes was nearly unbearable. I came close to crying on a record four different occasions!

I say "came close to", but in reality "was actually" would probably be more truthful. But decidedly less manly!

I've read on the 24 Insider message board, that on the March 27th episode, the actress who played the older Alma Jr. in Brokeback Mountain (Kate Mara) joins the cast as Edgar's replacement and she's supposed to be as "nutty as Chloe."

Eh, I hope it's not a Chloe-Clone. A "Chloney"! There's only one Chloe.

So... what are the Emmy possibilities for "24"? You think this season could be the big season for the show at the Emmys? It kinda sucks that "The West Wing" and "The Sopranos" will probably get quite a few nominations. Well... not really for Sopranos. They deserve some love. But, I just want "24" to get a bunch of acting nominations. Kiefer did so much for the show for five seasons, but there are some great actors and actresses this year. Of all the people, outside of Kiefer, I think Jean Smart has the best chance for Supporting Actress.

Yeah hopefully this season produces some OTHER acting nominees - Jean Smart being the one with the most chance. I think 24 will have its most nominations to date in the upcoming Emmys. I wouldn't count out Peter Weller getting maybe a Guest Acting nomination (that is, if he goes as Guest). I don't see ER or Law & Order spin-offs dominating the guest categories. Six Feet Under's final season is too under the radar, while The SOpranos have gotten diminished buzz (due to its okay ratings), The West Wing being The West Wing, Commander-in-Chief just disappeared. Did Deadwood even air this season? Lost is 24's primary competition (though I think the show will get every other nomination, except acting) and Grey's ANatomy and House are quickly becoming phenoms.

Maybe with all the shuffle, Prison Break will sneak in. ;)

I'll go by those shows right now:

ER and Law & Order are out for any major categories. Mariska Hargitay is the only lock, I'm sure. Maybe a Guest Acting nod or two.

Six Feet Under might get a few nominations, but not many. The usuals. Frances Conroy, maybe Rachel Griffiths. Drama for sure.

I don't think that this will be the last season for Sopranos to be eligible at the Emmys. Are they airing 10 episodes now, and 10 later? It's probable they'll wait to really reward them for the last ten.

The West Wing will probably do its usual thing.

Commander-in-Chief will get Geena Davis no doubt. MAYBE drama. Big maybe, since the show has fell off so much.

No Deadwood. Didn't air this season.

Lost and Grey's Anatomy are definite contenders.

Prison Break is a big maybe. I don't know if the Emmys will go for it in a big way.

Ideally, it would be 24, Lost, Veronica Mars, The Sopranos, and Six Feet Under. That would be great. Too bad it won't happen (at least not for VM).

 Happened to me, too. Although, I have to say that I didn't get misty-eyed in Tony's last moments. I don't know why! It's a very powerful moment, especially a crying Jack cradling Tony in his arms.

I think my most embarrassingly tearful moment was when Lynn went out to fix the air-con. The swelling, heroic music really made me sob.

So, I heard that the episode airing this Monday, they're going to kill off the rest of the cast.

Next Monday's episode, they're going to kill off the casts from all other FOX shows.

The Monday after, there will no longer be any network television shows.

Michelle Rodriguez will get killed as well.

so is Tony actually dead or what? You'd think a silent tick would be in order.

Nice interview with 'Edgar'.

Link

I liked Edgar, but I cannot imaging he's anywhere near in popularity as Lombardi thinks.

Great episode, but I had a feeling Astin was goin to meet his maker, I dont think Tony is dead, Imean It was just another dosage of the truth serum, though being stabbed in the heart will slow him down some. Only time will Tell

When Astin died, we came up with a fake story that he was carried off in the end and on the screen it said, SINCE 2006, no other CTU worker was every carried out of the building.

I was cracking up

The reasons that I thought Tony was dead were that the scene was much too emotional. And, the article that Loyal posted one page back seems to say that Tony is gone.

The reasons that I thought Tony was alive were that there was no silent clock. I can't see how it's a case of too many silent clocks. If that's the case, nix the Edgar one and give Tony his respect.

So, I don't know. I have come to expect "24" to kill off whoever whenever, so I sort of figured Tony was done and dead. Maybe he's not.

Thegun, I thought Tony was going to inject Henderson with something that would kill him. Which is why Tony was expected to be dead. I don't think it was any of the truth juice.

And, in response to the interview with Lombardi... I wouldn't go so far as to say he's the most loved character, just because some fans are outraged over it. He wasn't my favorite, and he's probably not a top five favorite either. Once someone kicks the bucket, you feel bad for them. But outside of that, it's not like I adored him. I'm mourning Tony's supposed passing over Edgar's.

But, in response to his comments about Edgar dying in a depressed, negative manner. I think Tony was worse. He lost his wife, nearly died himself, and came back... only to get offed himself. I feel far worse for Tony.
