Many members have previously expressed a desire to donate and help offset some of the costs of running the website.

I want noone to feel as though you have to donate. You do not. You are all valued members of this website regardless of any donation. Many of you give to this website in non monetary ways and without that this site wouldn't survive.

If however you would like to help us (arsi, loyal, me) out with regards to the money spent on the site, then by all means, please do. It will be greatly appreciated.

Yep, I think if you go to the main site, the "About" page has a link to the donate page. Which is still on the old design.

I'll update that later today and stick a link in the footer of the main site directly to the donate page. I didn't even realize I hadn't switched it over!

What is happening with the donated money? Just curious.

It goes directly to pay server charges. All the money goes directly into our paypal account, which is where the money gets withdrawn to pay for the server. Basically, when we get a server bill, paypal will take as much as we have in our account, then charge my credit card the rest.

Just a thought if you want. Give a breakdown on what the total monthly cost is or how much usually you have to pay out of your pocket each month to see if people can help cover your normal monthly shortage.
