So guys, when are the final ballots due?
I think they should be before the fifth, even if we present the awards afterwards.

so sorry but again, wrong.
and when I complain, I am usually right.
let me start with one example on how my rightous complaints were followed and echoed by many other users that stopped Lecter from being in charge of that game.
I won't even bring up the time that a game was started by he decided in the middle to just stop doing it.
o the stories that I could tell............ now they are gold.

Wow, how the heck did Match Point get in there? Incredible. I didn't think there were many people passionate about the film here at all, since it seemed most were disappointed. I totally gauged that wrong. Wow. Interesting. Match Point for all of the major awards really shook things up, which is cool. I really have to see this film now, since apparently it is so great.
Most other major noms were expected. I was hoping Batman Begins wouldn't sneak into Best Picture, but alas it did.
The New World was sooo close! Incredible as well.
All in all, wow. Crazy stuff! Not what I expected. Excellent job everyone involved!!
PEACE, Mike.

Agreed. We need to try and limit the Oscar's impact on our awards.

Well, if we make it due before Oscars, that's 16 days. I don't know if that'll be enough time.
We'll figure it out.

We're probably going to have them due ON Oscar weekend.
With the ceremony afterwards, of course.

I wish I knew but this is a Torrino / Lecter production ......... doesn't that say it all.
Note, Torrino and you wonder why I didn't respond to your begging PM about voting.

Actually, it is a Torrino/Lecter/Zingaling/Loyal/Xiayun production.
Does that say it all?

We will have a thread up soon regarding the next step. Just hang on for a little bit.
Goldie, I don't think you'd ever be able to organize something of this magnitude, so... no comments, please.

Fokks, what about clicking on this thread's first page?
And I don't understand what is so confusing? Pick your favorite in each category and send your ballot to BallotPM. One pick per category, obviously.
For the Best Overlooked Film, you just pick some movie that you consider to be the best most overlloked film of 2005. Just one film.
That's all.

Yes it is there now - glad someone finally pointed us there - but just FYI it wasn't there before as that was the first place I looked.

I think they should be due on midnight of the 5th. That should be plenty of time. Over two weeks.

Oh seriously Goldie, please just stop.
Then again why are we surprised, you pretty much single-handedly attempted to crash last years awards, leading to the first of your many warnings. Can we please not have a repeat of that? Or is that just too much to ask.

Nah, Oscars are announced by then. I say they have to be in before the ceremony starts, 5 (or 6?) pm EST, on the 5th.

I think he meant 12:00am March 5, as in the night of March 4.

Dolce your D+ for CRASH has really come through. I hope your happy.
Films such as Dark Water and SAW II make the nominations lists. Oh you have got to be kidding. You know if any of you people throw stones at the posters on BOM, then you should take a good look at yourself.

The foreign category is a bad joke.
Kung-Fu Hustle is 2004
Downfall is 2004
Walk on Water is 2004
2046 is 2004
Oldboy is 2003
I guess we have to be glad that Crouching Tiger or Das Boot didn't get a nomination.
