I seriously am so happy that TDR made it. I just hope it can pull out the win. It's really in a totally different class than the other films.

Agreed. If anyone is expecting a full-fledged comedy, they'll be disappointed. But, it's a great movie.

Yeah, it's the worst of them (except for Emily Rose).

And it didn't even receive my vote... it might actually be a spoiler, since the people who liked it here, really liked it Saw II is the safest choice, though...

Saw II!
I knew it was kind of a lock, but still. It's the best horror film of last year, easily.

Yeah, it's interesting that Dark Water was actually rather a financial disappointment compared to the other four nominees, but it has built its small nice fanbase by now.

If you're saying that, i'm not sure you even saw it. Seriously.
How could you say Amityville Horror is better than it? That's ridonkulous.

I must admit, I enjoyed it much more than the original (still one of my least favourite films of all time...). But The Descent's snub will haunt me forever...

I'm not a huge fan of The Devil's Rejects, but you gotta respect Rob Zombie's efforts. For such a cheap budgeted film, TDR is pretty fucking sick and hardcore.

Um, are you kidding? Feel free to go to the Reviews forum and read all the reviews I have up for the nominated films. I gave TDR a B-. Great effort, trying to get ot the raw 70s style, but the story was very lacking. Trying to be so "twisted" by making the audiences sympathize with the Rejects is not worth applauding.
