I had:
Best Editing
1 The Constant Gardener
2 Brokeback Mountain
3 Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
4 Capote
5 Pride & Prejudice
Not sure what I was thinking with #3. KKBB had a lot of charms, but the editing.....eh.

There was this one scene wher they transitioned very weirdly to jake driving and then back.. for no reason. I felt that a lot of scenes were badly and choppily transitioned into... but that's just me I'm but a commoner in this land of cinephiles

Will Ferrell was in Wedding Crashers, Bewitched, Melinda and Melinda and in Kicking & Screaming, why not nominating him?

Very well-deserved for Munich and Crash!
Batman Begins is the big snub in that category!

Kicking and Screaming was horrible, but he was great in the Producers and was what saved the movie for me

Another good set of nominees. Especially glad The Constant Gardener made it. I only gave it a B, but that film is all about editing. BBM and GNAGL and Much are all among the best of the year.

Ah, yeah, I forgot The Producers.
Well, Kicking & Screaming was mediocre, Bewitched was terrible and his turn in Wedding Crashers wasn't all that great...

I'd say cinematography moreso. Its editing was a bit headache-inducing at times.

I voted for not-so-popular stuff like Proof and Murderball in the editing category, but GNGL was my #1 (good job there, guys), and Munich was on my list, too.
I actually didn't vote for Brokeback here. I did go for Goblet of Fire, though.
Constant Gardener would have been my #6.
