It makes sense. For younger people, at least. Guys like taking girls to horror films.

wow. glad for the Brokeback increase but am pretty shocked it increased the least with exceptions of the kiddie films.
Or more so, evetything else sky-rocketed! Great numbers all around. tomorrow's gonna be a HUGE drop.

I knew FD3 would be #1, but that's a great jump. And with the long weekend ahead, I think $50M is achievable.

Kind of funny that horror films increased the most. I bet New Line is happy.

The biggest blockbuster of the year (Underworld) also saw a nice little increase... the biggest gainers seem like very odd V-day choices. That's probably because there isn't much else to choose from... it's either kiddie movies or horror flicks like Big Momma's House 2.

That's a great increase for FD3. Should drop about 40% over the 4-day weekend, and I think it has a great shot at breaking 50m.

Nah.
If you're a premier member (or you used the three-day pass), you can set that view as your default and even after your pass or free trial is finished, it'll stay that way. I like it so much better this way.

Anyone else just notice that Kong jumped only 58%?
I guess both gay cowboys and big aes have it rough.

"view=1day&" after "?", and before "startdate" for other format. Or better way to just order Zing to post them numbers.

Tons of movies enjoyed very nice Valentine's Day boosts Tuesday. The increases were definitely a lot more than I expected movies to have. Everything should drop on Wednesday.

I wonder how well Failure to Launch could have done if Paramount had released it February 10 like they planned to.

I think studios should start treating Valentine's Day as Christmas Day for a romantic comedy and not be afraid of releasing it on that day, regardless what day of the week it falls on. It'll be particularly true next year, when Valentine's Day is on Wednesday.

I'm very impressed with these numbers. Good increase by Horror films and better than expected for Firewall. I hope it barely drops for the 4day.

I guess Valentine's Day was more popular among teens...at least when it came to the multiplex.

I've heard this myth of scared dates = easy lay before. I ask you then, why is it that when I force my dates down alleys, pin them to the ground and slap them in the face with my willy, all I get is mace in my face?
