Actually, isn't "Pulse" delayed till July 14th? I think it is.

As of March 1st, VM will have aired 16 out of 22 episodes this season. It will have six left, so a return on April 19th seems correct, if they have the finale on May 24th.

Altogether now...

VM on CW! VM on CW!

A good news/bad news thing, guys. The bad news is that there will not be any more VM for a month! But, the good news is that VM will be on during March, when America's Next Top Model returns! VM is getting the repeat treatment on the 15th and 22nd of February, as well as March 1st, and will return on March 8th. I thought this was a sign of things to come, but it really takes VM out of the horrific timeslot after "South Beach", while it places new episodes after Top Model, which inevitable will bode well for its future on CW. Agree or disagree?

It sucks that I'll have to go so long without a new episode of Veronica Mars, but ratings wise it's a good thing. Its ratings will be back up once Top Model returns. South Beach is really hurting it.

Technically, the hiatus is early. UPN is placing new episodes after Top Model, which bodes well for VM on CW.

New episode March 8th.

Kristen Bell is so beautiful and sexy and hot, all in one. Check out http://www.maximonline.com for some "Web-Only" pics of her. Great pictures.

I finally got my dad to start watching the show. He loves it. Only three episodes in, though. The episodes were great (I watched them again with him), but the show gets so much better as it goes along. After watching these episodes, it makes me enjoy Season 2 even more. The show is just brilliant. I love it. If CW doesn't take VM to their schedule, it will be a travesty. To be perfectly honest, I think CW will take it to give it a chance. If the show doesn't do well, then fine. They'll have given it a chance. I just want them to give the show an opportunity! It deserves it.

And guys, I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but VM doesn't return until March 15th. However, the good news is, there will not be one repeat between the March 15th episode and the May 10th season finale. Nine weeks of new Veronica. Next week is the two-hour premiere of America's Next Top Model. As far as I'm concerned, Top Model is probably the best chance Veronica Mars has of getting renewed, because it gets such great ratings.

Well that sucks .

I still have faith that it will get picked up by The CW. I can't imagine them not picking it up. It has so much potential.

For a while there I was very confident about getting a third season. I'm a total fan girl so I went to Austin for Marsathon, and went to the smaller Lambathon with Michael Muhney in Dallas. He made some extremely convincing arguments about why no one in their right mind would cancel it. Stuff like the fact that it costs less per episode to produce than any other 1 hour drama. Plus, at the time, the ratings were very good for getting a third season. But since the winter hiatus, the ratings have been absolutely horrible. Hopefully, getting back the Top Model lead in will help, and the fact that it will have new episodes while Lost is in repeats, but I'm so scared for my show. As much as other cancellations have upset me in the past, I think this would be the first time I would actually cry if it got cancelled now. The other problem is Gilmore Girls has dropped in the ratings by a lot. That was going to be the big lead in for Veronica Mars next season on the CW. (I really hated this for a long time and have argued against it, but have come to terms with it, and was actually convinced it could be a good move pairing the two.) But now it's looking like they won't have the audience to be a strong lead in the way we really need. The only thing I can hope for now is that with the new Emmy nomination process, VM and Kristen Bell can pick up some nods and get attention that way. But I'm not too optimistic about that. It's still the Emmys, after all.

Even with this new Emmy nomination process, I think don't think Mars stands a chance at garnering any recognition.

I don't, however, think think that the CW would even consider canceling this one. The show is good PR for UPN, and I have a hard time seeing them wanting to pass that up and not even experiment with a GG/VM night.

And welcome, new poster!

Thanks for the welcome.

The only reason I have any hope for the Emmys is because I feel like the change shows that they realize there are some really great shows that deserve recognition. VM being among them. So maybe they will go out of their way to nominate something totally unexpected. But I would never put money on it or anything.

I agree that it would be crazy for the CW to pass up on the opportunity to have VM, and I haven't given up hope that there will be a third season, but I'm getting very concerned about everyone expecting a GG/VM night to make all the difference. Apparently, CW isn't confident in GG anymore, considering the recent ratings slump. It's only guaranteed 13 episodes next season, and I've heard rumors of some meddling going on to get ratings back up. Which is fine. GG needs to be meddled in. But it does worry me that if they meddle in one show, what's to keep them from meddling in VM?
