Umm, there was a lesbian scene?

LOLLL. You must have missed the first 3 minutes with Izzy, Meredith, and Christina in the shower washing each other!

Yes.

Also, Loyal. You know you love it.

It was ok I guess. I have medical drama burn out.

I'll stick with my Battlestar, Deadwood, and 24.

I hate all things medical, so I could never stand watching a show like this. But just from curiousity from the Superbowl commercials...

What was Code Black? Like, a plague that kills nurses or something?

No. A patient was brought in with a bomb inside of him that was being held in place by a paramedics hand. If she moved her hand, they faced the risk of the bomb going off and killing everyone in the vicinity.

Something that happens every year in every hospital, I bet.

Two words that no doctor ever wants to hear "We have a Code Black."

this just hit me reading Loyal's comments.

Is Grey's A a tv chick flick show or a guilty pleasure or just a good show.

Thinking about all the long lasting looks / women bitch sessions / etc from the women on this show..........

Note > I still like it anyway as I like romantic comedies but I was just wondering about the above.

Yeah, and as soon as I saw it, I nearly tuned out. What a phony attempt to lure in the male viewers. And the sex scene in the middle. Crap.

But, aside from that... I liked it. AGAIN! Everytime I watch the show, I like it, and I continuously dodge it and forget about it for a few months. So, I'm really going to try and watch now. I also didn't really like how so much was going on in the episode, but it's the post-Super Bowl episode, so I'm not going to complain too much.

I did actually. I turned it on when Christina had just dragged Meredith out of bed.

Well that attempt worked, as it had around 38 Million viewers, the most ever for a show after the Superbowl. I can't blame them for doing this, as the Superbowl has tons of males watching, and what a better way to get them to tune in to the show afterwards?

You should check out the first season, which is just nine episodes, when it comes out this next Tuesday.

Yeah, it worked. But still. It was a little too blatant.

I might check out the first season. Maybe then I could get into the show.

Ya, it was a bit too blatant, but yes, it did work, so I'm happy

Alias did a much better, almost perfect job of integrating its hook to the rest of the episode in its Superbowl episode.

Ya... the ads had her walking down a hallway in sometimes a red and sometimes a black clothing ensemble

It turns out she was a hired prostitute for some guy on a plane. the guy had this important chip or code or something and she used the whore as her cover-up to get close to him and get what she needed, and which led to the epochal shift in the entire series. It was just well integrated and nothing TOO out of the ordinary for the show while the GA scene had no barring on the episode and if anything, actually hurt it... even though it was funny and enjoyable to watch!

ABC is airing the last episode again tonight after DANCING WITH THE STARS. CRUMBS won't be on tonight. So I'll be watching the beginning of the episode to see the lesbian scene I missed. Actually, I should watch the whole episode again. I can have my parents watch it because I think they'd really like this last episode.

I luv how they mix the comedy with the drama. it's sweet and sad.
one moment you're laughing your ass off and the next you're shedding tears.
