New Wide Openings Curious George > Animation Will Ferrell Universal Wide > NO THANK YOU
Final Destination 3 > Horror - New Line Wide > HOPE THEY HAVE SOME GOOD ACTION DEATH SCENES
Firewall > Thriller Harrison Ford Paul Bettany Virginia Madsen Warner Bros. Wide > HOPE THIS DOESN'T PLAY TOO OLD LIKE A WOODY ALLEN LEAD MOVIE
The Pink Panther > Comedy Steve Martin Kevin Kline Sony Wide > CAN'T BELIEVE I AM GOING TO SEE THIS AS PETER SELLERS IS ROLLING OVER IN HIS GRAVE > but I like JR and I want to see if SM can pull off any of his past brilliance. Hope not for more Woody Allen .....................
and another opening
Neil Young Heart of Gold > Concert - Paramount Classics
for starters............I have a small problem with all of these openings.............none, to me, are perfect from the start.
hope they surprise.

I'll see Firewall and The Pink Panther. I'll wait for FD3 on DVD. As for Curious George, maybe I'll wait to rent it, but possibly never.

Since I'm a big fan of Harrison Ford and don't want him to quit for 3 years again, I'll be supporting Firewall.

I think the White Countess is opening here that weekend. I'll see that. Maybe the Firewall film, if i'm bored and nothing else is around.

I wouldn't mind seeing all four actually.
If pressed, I'd have to go with The Pink Panther.

I was a little non-plussed by The Pink Panther's trailer when it first popped up on-line. But for some reason, the international trailer - despite containing many of the same jokes - manages to be much funnier.
See it here!

JUST #1 Choice This Week > The Pink Panther > Comedy Steve Martin Kevin Kline
It doesn't seem THAT great, but it has the stunningly beautiful, incredibly talented Emily Mortimer in it.
I also want to see FD3, FIREWALL, and CURIOUS GEORGE. Ouch, gonna be busy.

The other two Final Destination films have actually gotten better than expected response from critics. I wonder if this one will follow suit.

Nice for Harrison Ford but pretty bad for Steve Martin > looks like SNL might be the highlight of his week > not that I expected much from the Pink Panther.
and the 2 stars for FD3 probably means that will be OK for fans of the series.

2 stars for a horror film is actually pretty good when it comes to genre hater Ebert.

Agree.
Also, I like your sign as it was a kick-ass quote from Donald Sutherland in P&P.

This just popped into my head > I am alittle surprised that Ebert's ratings have come out already as I would have thought that they wouldn't be published to Friday's opening.
Just curious > where did you get them from > maybe a different source?

Someone from OscarWatch gets them directly from wire.

Can't wait for FD3 or The Pink Panther. Firewall is on the border, but I guess I'll see it. Nah to Curious George.
