Either way friday will be a night to remember. I've never seen Entertainment Weekly give something on TV an A+ besided the British the Office Christmas special (which was flawless)
what's friday?
IS it the 2 hour finale block?

Welcome to KJ.
Wow, a fan of The Office UK and Arrested Development.
I'm looking forward to Friday. If its anywhere near the level of the Xmas Special of The Office, we're in for a treat.

Sad it's coming to an end.
But I hope we finally hear some good (official) news in the next few weeks.

Yup, I'm pretty active at the-op forums, but this place seems awesome. Friday will be tremendous, just today plans were set in stone and a few RA's and myself will be hosting a big viewing party on my campus. I feel like I motivated something, er, helped with something. Yay being active. I'm an avid tv addict, but I'm a semi-movie buff as well. So I'll be active all over once I find the time to get my nose out of engineering books.

Promos?
Has anyone seen any commercials on Fox this week?
I try to not watch it too much, I heard a rumor that everytime you watch a show on Fox that isn't Arrested Development or some other show they intend to cancel god kills a kitten.

Nobody forget to watch this. Tape the Olympics, if you must.
Looks like Mitch Hurwitz is going to turn down Showtime's offer. Kristin from EOnline has been hinting that she's going to reveal bad news on that front, and Mitch is going to give an interview to NPR tomorrow at noon.
So, either way, we're going to know by tomorrow night whether these will indeed be the last episodes.
I suspect they are.

But, that seems odd, considering they did that whole spiel about "Yeah, the HBO isn't gonna want us!" "I think it's showtime.". Why would they do that if it was only under consideration by Hurwitz?

Well... yeah, of course it was funny. But, after seeing that, I was pretty much under the assumption that if a deal was offered, Hurwitz and Co. would eagerly accept. I had no idea until very recently that Hurwitz was only considering the deal, not taking it.

Lies.
Read Kristen at eonline's article. It says nothing new except the 20-80 thing and that Mitch has until June 15th to make a desicion. I don't understand why everyones freaking out saying we'll know wheter or not it's over tomorrow, I mean Fox probably won't cancel until monday and all that jazz, waiting grrr.

June 15th?! That's a long wait, especially if it has a bad outcome.

If showtime were to pick it up and Mitch agreed and everything...
When's the earliest we would see a new episode. I gather we'd probably have to wait almost a year or something.

I read winter 06 somewhere. Like December, but I mean if we found out in June then it'd only be half a year right?

^ It's a good interview, but it was recorded in November. So no news from Hurwitz as of yet.

well I'm guessing no showtime. Perfect way to end it though. Finale resolved pretty much everything, and hinted at a movie. Wouldn't that be awesome?

But also remember, at the beginning it said he was crying cause he just decided to stay with the family for a long time.
