I just realized...In the Mood for Love wasn't even released in 2000, it was released in February 2001, no? I was surprised to see it on many ballots here, so I checked up...

It was first released in China (and I think internationally outside U.S. as well) in 2000, but using U.S. release date, then it shouldn't count, as critics also mostly consider it a 2001 film: http://www.criticstop10.net/2001/index.htm
