1. "The 63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards" (NBC) 12.4/18
2. "CSI: Miami" (R, CBS) 9.3/15
3. "24 (Hour 2)" (FOX) 9.3/13
4. "24 (Hour 1)" (FOX) 8.4/12
5. "Two and a Half Men" (R, CBS) 8.4/12
6. "Out of Practice" (R, CBS) 7.1/10
7. "Wife Swap" (ABC) 6.1/9
8. "The King of Queens" (R, CBS) 5.8/8
9. "The Bachelor in Paris" (ABC) 5.3/9
10. "How I Met Your Mother" (R, CBS) 5.2/7
11. "The Bachelor in Paris" (R, ABC) 4.5/7
12. "Girlfriends" (UPN) 2.1/3
13. "7th Heaven" (R, WB) 2.1/3
14. "All of Us" (UPN) 2.0/3
15. "Half & Half" (UPN) 2.0/3
16. "Related" (R, WB) 1.0/1
17. "One on One" (UPN) 1.7/3

Not looking good for Emily's Reasons Why Not and Jake in Progress, since a repeat of the Bachelor managed to get a better rating, despite being the lowest rated program amongst the "big 4" networks.

It helps when you don't go up against Desperate Housewives, I guess.

I can't believe you gave up Los Vegas. It must be prett good if you did that. It does sound like it's an interesting show, if the show's angle is that each season takes place over a 24 hour period.

Well, I've always kind of-sort of watched 24, but not the whole way through.

Las Vegas is boring now. 24 is like watching a one-hour adventure of James Bond every week, if James Bond was A) realistic and B) politically-charged.

You forgot C) Contained obviously cheaper production values as they obviously aren't going to spend 100 million for a TV show like they do with Bond films.

Well, yes. But I still have more fun watching 24 than James Bond.

Probably not, but we won't know for sure until the viewer totals are released.

So, who still watches The Bachelor? Because judging by its ratings since forever, the show is rather low-rated. In its many off-seasons, ABC had good reason to renew it. But, there's no excuse now. The show just can't deliver in any demographic. Did they sign some 10-season contract or something?

Just wait till they make the movie which will come out next summer.

Great numbers for 24, the best show ever on TV.
