Cinematography?

It'd be a shame if Harry Potter isn't nominated.

I'll be optimistic:

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
King Kong
Memoirs of a Geisha
Brokeback Mountain
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Jarhead would deserve to be on the list, but there is no way it'll appear there, I'm afraid.

Except for Ray, last year's nominees were very well-deserved.

A Very Long Engagement should have won the Oscar for Cinematography. It had the best.

Christian is right: Good Night and Good Luck is in like Flynn.

If they do the right thing and recognize Constant Gardener I will be a happy man. And it's not out of the question: Cinematographers tend to be pretty astute when it comes to awards and what-not.
