Maybe Canada could close down the borders for the US like they did for Mexico. After all americans seem to blame illegal immigrants for losing out their jobs

Everyone blames everyone else for their problems. This is nothing new. Americans blame evreyone else for their problems as well and I'm sure Germans blame Austrians for things and Aussies blame folks from New Zealand for shit as well. No one ever wants to look in the mirror and take responsibility for anything. The gun problems in Toronto is a palaple one and it is getting scary now. There was a Christmas Eve shooting on Yonge street early in the evening. Gun violence is linked to gang violence and that has nothing to do with Americans or Canadians. That is a lack of resepct for human life. I hate it here and I am lucky that I live in Mississauga. I don't go downtown clubbing as much as before, mostly because of my age now, but at least partly because of the gun violence.

The matter for me is simple.
A few days ago, everyone asked us why the admins didn't close that adolf thread. Personally, I found no reason to close it but that is irrelevant. Thats how this board was run and people have their reasons for it. We also allow people to say fuck, bastard, mother fucker, do eating cat fucker and what not.
The point is, if the same psoters that are here also post at joblo or chud, or mojo, have different policies altogether but our posters start using that language there, I do think that those posters were partly influenced from our boards. The thing is though, that THIS IS NOT MY PROBLEM. It is for the other board to rectify and enforce their policies, not for me to accept blame and fix shit up just because it has found a way to effect you.
I'm pretty sure them toronto dudes are now more influeced by americans but blaming america is stupid. you got issues, not the states. you fix it.

A lot of things that are blamed as Americanization are things that would happen to all these countries eventually, but because of various factors (I'd be happy to list out a few but frankly I doubt anyone cares) America gets to that point first and then we become an easy target, you can say it's the way America is. But if America didn't exist, don't you think many modern things that are called Americanization would still happen? It just would have taken a little longer is all.
